I am seeking help with an issue I have run into in regards to a limousine reservation. I had called Fingerlakes Limousine & Coach 237 Lyons Rd, Geneva, NY 14456 on January 13, 2023 to reserve a limousine for a future bachelor party that is being held on April 22, 2023. I was asked to give a deposit and was then sent a contract via email. At no time during the phone call was it explained to me that if I paid a deposit and then later canceled the reservation I would not get a refund, but rather a credit voucher. Had that information been relayed to me I would not have given the deposit. I was sent a contract via email, but within an hour the decision was made by our group to not use the limousine company. I got back to Fingerlakes Limousine & Coach immediately to get a refund, but was told there would be no refund that would be issued. I was told it is their policy to issue a credit voucher in place of the refund. Again, that was never mentioned to me on the phone before I gave my credit card for the deposit, had that been the case I would not have reserved it. I did not sign the contract sent to me because I don't want to use the company. Can someone please get back to me on whether or not there is something that can be done? Our trip is not even happening until April of this year and since I canceled it within an hour I don't feel Fingerlakes Limousine & Coach should keep my deposit. I have not inconvenienced them in any way, they can easily rebook someone else 4 months out. I did reach out to them more than once, but was told they will not refund.Business response

Response taken by phone: Our cancellation policy is posted on our website and is also in our confirmation email. He made the reservation 1/13/2023. When he cancelled, we sent an email stating that an in house credit would be issued. We did not hear back from him requesting a refund until this weekend. Our policy is in place for a reason and the in house credit will remain valid until April 22, 2024.
