Purchased a Car that is so unsasfe and illegaly Inspected that will require $20.000 to pass inspection in three months!Business response

Our records indicate that the consumer purchased the subject 13 year old vehicle from us on May 1 1,2023 with 9 1,8 18 miles. The vehicle underwent and passed a NY Vehicle Inspection prior to sale. Unfortunately, Mr. ********* written complaint is rather vague as to specific issues with his vehicle. We would be happy to address any specific issues which he may have, and encourage him to reach out to us directly. Superior Auto Sales has been in business for over 50 years and is deeply committed to maintaining satisfied customers, and in resolving any issues that may arise.Initial Complaint

I purchased a vehicle from them on March 3rd, 2022. On April 12th, the engine died. They told me I was outside of lemon law mileage, but agreed to have a new engine installed. I waited over two months, and got the car back in July 1st, with a check engine light on. The car is now no longer safe to drive and they are telling me they cannot look at it for multiple days leaving me without a vehicle to drive. I’ve asked them multiple times to purchase the car back from me and they will not, they keep insisting that the car ran fine for them so it must be something I did.Business response

Called business and spoke with GM, Rick who stated that they repaired the vehicle and gave the consumer a loaner and the consumer received vehicle 2 weeks ago.
