My tenant called EMC Electric & Plumming to fixthe oil burner at **************** Levittown which was not working on 2/1/23. EMC came over and checked the unit. His name was ********************* and he said the unit needed a new burner motor. He replaced the burner motor and got the unit running. The unit stopped running later that day. ***** came back and did some more work and changed oil lines. The unit was again running and then stopped that night. He came back again on the third day 2/3/23 and worked on the unit again. It started working but there was no hot water or heat on the upstairs zone. The upstairs heat zone never came on. This was due to the zone being frozen, since this was the coldest 3 days of the year. My tenant called me, because water started pouring from the attic where one of the freeze outs occurred. I had the tenant shut off everything to the unit and went over. I cut the pipe and was about to go to ********** when EMC showed back up! They fixed the first freeze out and shortened the loop to feed what was left of the upstairs zone. They couldn't fix because of lack of material. At least there was some heat up there and I brought space heaters over. EMC charged me and my tenant $870 to give me a frozen zone that I had to have a new plumber come over and install and fix the 8 other freeze outs. Thank God it warmed up because it was a very busy time for plumbers. I tried to install the baseboard and fix the pipes myself, but was unable. I purchased 19' of Hi output baseboard and waited for the plumber to come. The plumber was LUC mechanical ************ and he charged me $1,600 to repair upstairs heat loop. Using material that I purchased costing almost $716 from ****** and **********. I need to be reimbursed for that work and I am not sure that the motor was ever bad since (*****) had put one in less than a year ago. The oil burner also stopped working multiple times and I had to get a service tech to fix it costing $230 named ************************* ************.
