Date of purchase: 6/11/23 Amount:$293.74 Commitment: Lifetime Warranty Autozone did not honor the lifetime warranty. I called autozone to make sure I was able to replace my struts for an exchange, since it had a lifetime warranty. I was told yes it was still under warranty and I could either bring in the old ones for an exchange or purchase a new pair and get a refund. When I tried to bring the old ones back for a refund. The manager said no, that I was given the wrong information. I am on a fixed income and would have purchased them somewhere else cheaper, if I had know that they weren't going to honor the refund. I called first to make sure. I was so angry. I told the manager that I called to make sure the warranty was still good, and to make sure it was an even exchange before I purchased the new ones ,and I asked the young lady several times and was assured it was covered. he still didn't seem to care. When I told him that I purchase all my auto parts from there, and I wouldn't in the future if he didn't refund my money his response was sorry you feel that way. He didn't care at all. I called customer service and explained my situation and was told someone would call me back in 24 to 48 hours. No call. Called again go the same response. once again no returned call. contacted facebook and they said some would call in 24 hours, still no call. So you are my last resort. It is not my fault that someone gave me the wrong information. I feel like they ripped me off. I buy all of my auto parts from them and have for years, but if they do not refund me my $293.74 I will never purchase another item from autozone.Business response

BBB spoke with the manager who said that the consumer needs to come into the store to have this taken care of.Customer response
