I recently purchased a Honda CRV sport touring awd drive car from you It was supposed to be the best model you had. I negotiated a price which included blacked out emblems on the front and the back and side molding. I went to pick up the car and these items were not on the car. They gave me an IOU on the contract. Since then I've been given the runaround this was over 3 weeks ago. I went back to Honda and was told they were call on Tuesday no one ever called. I also completed the survey stating that I was unsatisfied and no one has gotten back to me.Customer response

I purchased a ***** cx 5 on May 22,2023 the dealer secured a loan for me but I have 3 hard inquiries on May 20, 2023. I called to tell them that numerous inquiries for the same type of loan within 14 days are considered 1 inquiry. I called ************************ was told it cant be corrected.Initial Complaint

04/22/21 I leased a vehicle through huntington honda and they told me that they would honor a $300 monthly price if I added on their unlimited rim tire and wheel replacement "package". Two years ago I used it to replace a tire they claim was bald but was just blown. I now have a second actual bald tire that I thought was covered- turns out they only cover "cosmetic" damage and that its a warranty with ****** consumer care- I am a honda guy, why would I purchase a ****** warranty... anyways here is what I went through- this warranty was not disclosed of the way it should've been and I signed off on what I thought was an extension of their services for $39 a month. They tacked $39 onto my bill for a product they wrote they charged $16 a month for.... I would never have purchased this warranty if it was disclosed as a seperate 3rd party service they would upcharge for. Today I called and spoke to everyone, they all hung up on me. *** the director of finance was very accusatory of me trying to game their system.. I just don't want to get in an accident. When I went there like *** asked the Male finance manager was very rude and said he would not review my contract with me and I called him weird, so he physically got in my face... I recorded it as soon as I could ask warned him that he would not do that again. *** director of finance starts exclaiming "we won we won" I was very disturbed with what I experienced today and left a review on ****** as well. They threatened to call the cops, I asked that they did because I felt I was not given a platform to state my case and thought they would reconsider, then the employee grabs me and pushes me away- I spoke to 3 at the door about why I was there ( I was asked to come in and immediately disrespected and treated I'd say unfairly when I got there)I have no idea what I paid for this "warranty" because they wont review my contract and I was told it was $39 a month, they did not fully disclose it was a 3rd party product.Initial Complaint

In looking for a new vehicle on the internet, i came across Huntington Honda. I am in the market for a **** Honda ***** Elite in a specific color: Platinum White with Gray interior. Huntington Honda was showing the White ***** on their website listed under "New Inventory" on 12/30/23. In fact, they had (4) Honda ***** Elite models listed as being in their inventory. I filled out a request and someone called me from the dealership. I explained I was interested in this specific vehicle model and color. They assured me they had one in stock and I should make an appt. with the dealership to view the car. After a 1/2 hour drive to the Huntington Honda dealership, on 12/30/23, we waited another 1/2 hour for a salesman.Once we finally sat down with a salesman and told him (****) that we were there to view the **** Honda ***** Elite (White/Gray), he told us it was not in their inventory. He only had (1) Elite model in stock and not in those colors.The Huntington Honda website clearly showed (4) Elite models in different colors, one of which was the Platinum White/Gray interior.We told the salesman that we had made the trip specifically to see the one we were told was in their inventory. He apologized profusely and gave us some explanation and wanted to show us another model.We were not interested and told him so. Also told him to let the manager/owner know that this BAIT AND SWITCH tactic is a terrible. way to do business. I will never go to Huntington Honda again based on this experience.I noticed the following day, 12/31/23, that the Platinum White/Gray interior vehicle that I had followed up on the previous day was no longer on the website. HUNTINGTON HONDA IS LISTING CARS FOR SALE ON THEIR WEBSITE THAT THEY DO NOT HAVE IN INVENTORY. THIS CAUSED A WASTE OF MY TIME AND FUEL TO GET TO THE DEALERSHIP ONLY TO FIND OUT THAT THE VEHICLE ADVERTISED ON THEIR WEBSITE WAS NEVER ACTUALLY IN INVENTORY.Customer response

Was pressured into leaving a deposit on a car on 7127/2023, like the sales guy legit followed me out to my car. Driving home I knew it was the wrong decision and called my sales Rep ************************ Of course he had left for the day and I left a message advising was no longer interested. I also emailed him and followed up on 7/29/2023, to which **** told me he would forward it to be processed on 8/31.It's almost 2 months and I haven't received my refund. I have called and left several messages, contacted on social media and email.do not have anything good to say about this dealership and would highly advise to go somewhere else.. Unless you have money to Donate to Abul as your never going to get it back.Customer response

My husband and I were scammed and mislead false information from HONDA HUNTINGTON. We were promised $985 a month for two new lease vehicles and to hold the cars, we were told to leave a $500 deposit. which we did. We had to come back in two days due to the cars not being available. We came back and was told that we were ok to trade in my own car and they will give me 6k for the Jetta and I can trade in my current lease ***** with no issue. Just a termination fee of $400. I was told from ******************************************************** We continue finalizing the paperwork. Once we went over the financial center with ***********************, we thought everything was secure, until we were told that we had to pay about $6k on each car due to lower the payments and because we couldn't return the ***** as we were told. We ended up paying about $16k on the cars , sign leased and we were not allowed to walk away or leave. We were not told or explained anything clearly. Honda DID NOT TAKE ACCOUNTABILIY OF THIER MISTAKE. Please we need help and can be something that we can do. Please help! It's long to explain. Will like a follow up. Thank you!Initial Complaint

I went to Huntington Honda this afternoon to see ********************************* about a 2020 Honda Accord. I explained to ******** that I already had a loan approval through MCU ************ that I would like to use. When I left they ran my credit through 5 banks unnecessarily because I already had an open loan for the car. He told me they wouldn't do that and did exactly what they said they wouldn't do. Glove box on 2017 CRV did not open. **** seemingly nonfunctional as key turns but latch does not engage. A quick ****** search shows that this is a very common problem with that car. Brought it to Huntington Honda where car was purchased to have it inspected and repaired under warranty. They denied the claim initially claiming that the box was "stuffed" with papers. When we protested and showed that was a ridiculous assertion, then they disclaimed saying that the box was scratched. At that point, the box had some new pry marks on the outside that were caused by them! Even worse is that their response was not relevant to a broken lock with no visible damage on it. It does not seem to be the box that is defective but rather the lock itself. Ultimately we complained to Honda itself. Today, we are told, for the first time, that Huntington Honda said that they found a breast pump in the glove box! A breast pump!!! That has to be the craziest thing I ever heard. Breast pumps don't fit in glove boxes. I told them that it is a complete lie and that their own pictures do not even reflect such. Stay away from Honda/Huntington Honda.Initial Complaint

I contacted ********************* sales associate regarding a receiving a 500 dollar deposit refund for a Honda *** on 3/10 and 3/14 to no avail. I waited for several months to obtain a vehicle and expressed that I had a hard deadline of 3/5 in order proceed with the vehicle transaction at Huntington Honda. After not hearing anything from the dealership, I had to make other arrangements. Now, the dealership has not responded to my requests for a refund.
