      Hello, I went to the Rullo Agency and purchased insurance through them with ******* Insurance. I was not receiving any bills from ******* and had contacted the Rullo Agency multiple times for a bill. When I spoke with ******* they said I had to speak with my agency regarding any complaints. Finally I was able to make contact with Rullo and paid over $900 for my insurance. I was told there was no lapse in insurance and everything was taken care of. I was assured everything was taken care of. On December 23rd 2023 I was pulled over, arrested, and my car was towed for a suspended registration due to lapse of insurance. I have attempted to contact my agency many times and have been unsuccessful. I had to pay $250 for my car to be towed, $250 fine in court, and have lost my vehicles for 88 days. Again I have attempted to contact my agency and have have received no answer or call back. I would like to file a formal complaint against the agency as now I am experiencing undo hardship. I have 4 children and a job that I am unable to get to. I am unable to sell the vehicles to purchase new vehicle because the registration is suspended in NY and would like for the agency to fix their discrepancy. Please look into this.

      The agent determined the customer/complainant did not pay their insurance bill as required to avoid DMV charges/assessments.  Under law, DMV will assess a fee/fine for each day a driver is uninsured. 

       

      Our records indicate the agent left a voicemail for the customer on 9/28/2023.  Eventually, the customer conferenced with another member of our company and a *** ****/******** rep. The customer mentioned that she and her husband were able to make a payment amounting to $970 with our agent.  However, the *** **** rep confirmed that the latest payment made on her account was on 6/09/2023 for $873.67.  On 11/01/2023, another term was created for the client's policy and a $254 payment was completed for the unpaid balance by their collections team.  The *** **** rep informed the customer that she needed to make a total payment of $637.99 for her auto policy to be reinstated. The customer refused to pay the full amount.  She stated that she would keep her policy as it is.

      I have been contacting this business since December 16th 2023 to cancel my car insurance policy. They're not complying with my request I have emailed them several times and called over 20 times to get this resolved and no one has reached out to cancel my insurance. I have provided the signed cancelation form to Tanya and she has yet to cancel my policy. My cars are not longer insured in NY and they're still trying to collect payments. I need them to cancel my policy and refund the money from the last 2 months Dec & Jan. Thanks!

      Agency records indicate the customer/complainant did not provide a written cancellation request (as required to cancel an insurance policy), nor did the customer provide a form FS6 (receipt evidencing surrender of license plates at DMV) permitting the agency to remove the vehicle from the insured’s policy.

      I had my car insurance through this company and paid for the entire year through 3/14/2024. I attempted to add renters insurance to my policy. I called and called and never got a call back so I ultimately cancelled my car insurance on 10/18/23 and went with different company. I was promised a refund which should have been approximately $400. I have called at least 10 times and no one calls me back. They have held my money for over 3 months now.

      Per insurance requirements, in order to cancel a policy with us, there must be a signed cancelation request from the new insurance agent and proof of coverage back to that date.  Any agent would know this   Without this information, no cancelation can legally be processed on our end.  We have no record of same being received.  The customer is free to contact her insurance provider directly if she chooses to discuss this matter further.  However, these are the required steps to cancel her insurance.

      I had Rullo back in January. Mike Rullo stated I was covered from January 9th to the 26th. He then canceled me on the 27th due to asking me for an additional payment without explanation on what it was for. I got new insurance on the 27th. Mike Rullo went back and changed the cancelation date back to the 9th. I have supporting documentation showing I was covered for those dates. I tried to get ahold of him through the Rullo agency and the rep that answered was EXTREMELY rude, stated he no longer works there and theres nothing he can do then hung up on me. I've tried going through *** (the insurance company) who stated the Rullo agency are the ones who need to correct the cancelation date. I've been going back and forth with no resolution even though I have the supporting document.
