My problem is I originally leased my vehicle in 2019 when my lease was up I decided that I wanted to keep my vehicle. So I went back to the dealership & told them I wanted to finance it. Upon financing it, I was told by ************* that they would give me a complementary oil change & tire rotation, because I was deciding to finance the car through them, as well as I had a rebate Amazon certificate that they had sent me which they said that they would honor via the tire rotation. Fast forward I called in 12/4/23 to say hey Im ready to take you up on the complementary oil change & the tire rotation only to be notified that the dealership is no longer servicing Alfa Romeo or Maserati as of 4/23. I asked the question of why and I was told that they either lost their ability to service those cars or that the dealership is closed down for those vehicles. So I asked where do I go to now, they told me that you have to find a place to go too. I said well who compensates me for the oil change, and tire rotation that is supposed to be complementary. The reception told me she doesnt know. Also, when I finance the vehicle, ***** sold me a ************ protection as well as a service contract which to my understanding was for Mopar or an affiliation of Mopar, now I also come to find out that this is a third-party warranty and not every Alpha ****** Maserati dealership except this warranty. Ive contacted several Alpha ****** Maserati locations inside of ******************** Island area to only be told that they dont take this contract. They only take Mopar contracts, so I feel like I have a steel contract. I actually called ***** which is the company that the contract is through they told me that I can go to ********* or third-party mechanic shop to service my vehicle however, my vehicle is a foreign vehicle which the parts is very expensive & if Im not mistaken, since Im financing my car, I believe is verbiage inside my contract with the bank that I have to take it to Alfa ******. Also they told me my option was to cancel the contract through Alfa ****** of Manhattan. But how do you cancel some if the company is out of business? I feel like they stole my money. Please Help me. No one notified me that they were going out of business and what my options was going forward. I paid approximately $5K-$7,500 for both contracts.
