In March of this year, I signed up for a INFOSEC World convention in *******. They eventually had to cancel the convention because of COVID, but told us we could be registered for their 2022 offering. I declined and asked for a refund ($1,895) on 21 September. After one month waiting with no refund, I was told on October 22 that they weren't able to refund my credit card because of the length of time that had past so they would have to issue me check or debit a bank account. I asked for a check. After complaining on November 15th & again on November 29th, I was told that that the *** would have to issue the check. I asked again on December 5 and have not received any response. I believe that they don't intend to refund my money.Customer response

At this time, I have been contacted directly by CyberRisk Alliance LLC regarding complaint ID ********, however my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

They have not said anything about getting anything from the Better Business Bureau. I write them many emails and get a periodic response saying that they've either written the refund check and sent it or promise to write another one. The last promise that a check will be sent was on 1/24/2022 and the Accounts Manager told me he'd email me once the check was mailed - nothing heard and no check received.
