      I hired ******* at Morgan Legal Group, on August 2023, and I paid a retainers fee of $4,500. ******* and I had a conversation about my case and how he would handle it, which we agreed. ******* said that my case would take the most 3-4 months to resolve. I was thrilled and agreed. I called about updates on my case, but no one returned my calls finally after 3 months I was able to speak with someone at MLG who informed me that my case was never worked on and ******* gave my case to *******************. When BL and I talked he said that he wasnt familiar with my case. ** said that my case should be filed and I submitted all documents that BL requested and send them to his assistant ***** and in the future if I had questions I should contact ***** who would be in charge of my case. I sent ***** documents by overnight mail from post office and I also emailed her my information. If I had questions I would email ***** and in 3 weeks she would reply. ***** informed me everything was good with the court. The court did not accept it. ***** then requested more documents and informed me that she needed to speak with BL because she needed help with it. I tried reaching ***** by phone she would hang up i left messages and emails and she never answered me. I called BL in April 2024, and he invited ***** in our phone conversation. I learned my case had not been updated since December 2023, BL asked ***** what was going on. She said the court clerk sent everything back and they needed to start from the beginning. .I called the court myself and I was instructed to file for guardianship. I told BL he said this was a new case and I needed to sign a new retainer agreement. Or use the remaining funds of my retainer and bill me for future charges. I disagreed. On May 29, 2024 i emailed ******* at MLG that I no longer wanted to do business with MLG and that I was misrepresented and I want my documents and refund back. I have not received a answer.

      The client was informed that guardianship was necessary before we began working on her case.  After beginning our work we further told her guardianship required and the Client told us she wanted to handle the guardianship portion without our representation with us continuing representation on the administration matter which has been done.  Her retainer agreement has been exhausted and the Client has still not completed the Guardianship proceeding as she said she would on her own.  There has been no misrepresentation and the client simply does not want to pay her bill.

      My partner and I retained Morgan Legal in September of ********************** filing custody modification petition. We were promised prompt service and filing, paying our retainer immediately. There has been very minimal communication with the legal team since receiving our money, we have yet to receive a statement for any of the funds used for our retainer. Every time we call, they often do not know our names, or we sit on hold for long periods of time to be told we will be contacted at a later time. When we brought our communication concerns to ****** we were again prompted quick service, last time we heard from him was November 2023. He then assigned another paralegal to our case, who claimed to have submitted our petition December of 2023 and it was not done. When we requested updated statement for our retainer from the paralegal, he inappropriately shared he also had not been paid in months. We have since requested to receive our retainer back due to the lack of professionalism and service in January of 2024. Since the beginning of the year the Morgan Legal Group still has not responded to our emails or phone outreach. For a family seeking resolution to a custody matter and waiting 5 months since initial contact with this legal group this is highly disappointing. We are still in the same position since we started with Morgan Legal Group and now need to seek additional support to be reimbursed and a new attorney.

Upon receipt of the client's request, the matter has been closed with a refund of the retainer balance processed back to their original method of payment.

      Morgan Legal Group has reach out to my family to correct any concerns that was brought forth. At this time my complaint has been resolved and funds have been received as requested. We have reached a resolution with not only reimbursement, but promised to assist us with the original matter which caused us to retain them in family court.

      My matter was not handled properly. It has been delayed at every turn, based on the offices lack of follow through and errors. Ive had issues ranging from poor legal counsel, to just outright sloppy legal work. First - I informed them I wanted to put my home into a trust and they gave me a price that was supposedly all inclusive only to shake me for more money at the end claiming the price did not include actually putting the property in the trust (just creating it) Second - Half the times I called they didnt know who I was. I would on numerous occasions ask to speak to my attorney and theyd transfer me to the paralegal, who was great, but for several months I went on thinking he was an attorney based on their false representation. Third- They sent me documents to have notarized with NUMEROUS glaring errors. And when I say glaring, I mean things like getting my name wrong and listing an LLC that I had no association with. They sent me a document to sign and notarized for a DEED TRANSFER with a random LLCs listed and it- you cant get more incompetent than that. I still dont know if my title has been properly recorded, though they told my daughter that it was submitted to the ************* in November, I guess time will tell. I have attached the letter my daughter (an attorney herself) sent them, as she can explain the situation better than I. Also, I've included some of the sloppy documents, including being referred to as ****** (my name is not ******)

      I hired ****** legal group to represent a child coustody case where I paid a **** retainer after the retainer ran out. The practice has over billed me and keep adding to a bill I don't owe. I've contacted and spoke with billing and a senior rep in order to get this issue resolved only to be blocked. They are stating i owe more than i do when i have proof i dont owe and i was given an option to be discounted 20% or investigation, I chose to have issue investigated but the firm. Im currently being billed after I fired them and I'm blocked from getting a understanding why.

      I would like to file a complaint on Morgan Legal Group. January of this year their law firm stated they could represent me. 01/18/23 paid ***** for their representation. I was given a lawyer by the name of *********************************. He was so bad he was fired and royally screwed up my case. After months of trying to get him to do his job; I find out he filed wrong with the county and didn't provide any documentation proving my case. I was trying to contact ************* a whole month by email. Until I called in July, I found out he was fired. No one was going to inform me.Then I was given *******************. I provided all information and documentation to **** all over again. **** did nothing and left me waiting for weeks. When I called and complained, I was given a lawyer by the name of ***. I gave all information and documentation again. when I waited 2 weeks, I called & was told he left the firm. I was told ******* Morgan was going to represent me now. I call him then was told a ************ was taking the case. Now since it's been 10 months with no real results and charging me every time I call and emai to trying to get any information. Now *** says he can't really do anything for my case. I can't win lawyer fees or damages. Why did they take ***** dollars if they couldn't resent my case? Now when I called they give me the run around. I feel completely swindled. Took my money and used it up to get to no actual result. I told ******* Morgan I want a complete refund to 10/24/23.

      Client received the services that they had requested with a successful outcome of her matter.  Notwithstanding that, the matter that we were originally retained for was resolved in her favor and her matter was closed they requested that we continue representing them on their action.  Finding out that client has no proof of any of the additional allegations client was informed of the same.  Notwithstanding the fact that we completed our task as per our written and signed agreement, we have still agreed to provide the client with a refund of her retainer.   Matter resolved favorably for client, we still agreed to refund her remaining retainer as a professional courtesy notwithstanding services were completed as required pursuant to our written contract.

      I started a case with them back in 2022. And now its 2023 and nothing has been done. They claim that papers were sent to court, when I go to court to verify, they tell me nothing was sent over. Ive resent whatever papers, the paralegal asks for, then she tells me its all wrong papers. If youre a paralegal why send wrong papers to begin with. I ask her to email me papers to be signed and send back, she says ok. Its been almost a week and nothing. All my papers for the case have 2023 for the date filed. It should be dated 2022 when I started with them. It will be a year and nothing is done. I have proof from the court itself saying nothing was sent, claiming it was. I should of never started with them as Ive read so many bad reviews. I just want whats supposed to be done and the papers in the court, not on their desk or where ever.Please help me get them to do the right thing. They claim they have so many cases, if they cant help them all, then why they take on so many clients.
