      I spent 5 months dealing with ************************* FROM AMERICAN HOME SOLUTIONS to help with the foreclosure on my home. Luckily I have every email, document and recorded phone conversations with this HORRIBLE business. THEY STOLE OVER $5000.00 FROM **. Part of the process was to send money orders to there address in ********. I sent pictures to them on the 10th of every month with a picture of money orders and certified tracking. I have sent several more emails after receiving an email 4 months after 3way phone calls with my lender and AHS stating my modification was approved to only find out that it was denied and that none of my " CHECKS" were cashed. I NEVER SENT CHECKS. I WAS TOLD IN EMAIL AND IN PART OF THE DOCUMENTS TO SEND MONEY ORDERS. This happened from September 2023 to January 2024. I have been very ill and this is my 2nd attempt to file a complaint but my pictures were not going through.

      At this time, I have been contacted directly by American Home Solutions regarding complaint ID ********, however my complaint has not been resolved

      The process department contacted me by phone and told me they would call me back for a 3pm phone meeting on july 12th. They initially contacted me at an inconvenient time and said they would email me from the email they would like documents sent to. I emailed several documents in 2 different emails but never received a phone call or email back.  Therefore my case is not resolved.

      American Home Solutions offered me a rate lower than my mortgage holder, Freedom Mortgage. A three-way call was initiated by ********************* of American Home Solutions, with me and Freedom Mortgage. The intent of the call was to get my interest rate lowered so that my mortgage payments would not be a hardship. Out of the five payments I made **** sent only two to Freedom Mortgage. The late payments that I owed Freedom Mortgage were forgiven. Because Freedom Mortgage did not get all the payments that I sent I continue to owe late payments. Freedom Mortgage never told me that they were missing any of the payments during that five month period.

      Ive called them several times and I'm just promised a call back and it never happens. Every contact I had with the company seems to no longer be employed there. ************************* or ***************************. When I call in no one is able to give me an update or a manager or a new point of contact. Back in December ************************************************************************************************************************ my financial situation preventing me from being able to pay my mortgage. The company had me sign documents one very specifically stating there will be no further charges past a set $6,213.66. After several delays on their part causing this to drag one way into 6 months the total payments sent to them in excess of over $12,427.32. I ended up having to resolve the issue directly with M&T bank because the company was unresponsive to them and submitted paper work with no contact information. Throughout this entire process they ignored my emails and voicemails. If I finally got someone on the phone I asked to speak to management and was flat out denied or they would say someone would call me right back and it never happened. In addition to everything their false promises of reducing my mortgage actually put me in a position where I now have a lean against my home and my mortgage payment has gone UP by $57. I fully believe I should get back every cent I paid this horrible company as they did not honor a single commitment that was made, if this is not a possibility this company needs to be held accountable to pay back the additional $6,213.66 that was paid to them as their representative told me I have to keep submitting payments until the issue is closed out. The office of the comptroller of the Currency requested I file a complaint with CFPB which I have twice now.

      This Company that is supposed to be a government funded program was supposed to be helping me get my mortgage interest rate reduced and my monthly payment lowered. They set up a 90 day program where I pay them $1,704.20 a month and then my mortgage company ********** ******** Services would continue at that point on. My mortgage company did not receive any documentation from them when I contacted them on February 29, 2024, they did not even have any paperwork from AMS at all or had any record of receiving anything from them. So I attempted reached out to *************** in which I left messages but did not get in contact until almost a week later. I requested to cancel the program at that time and requested a refund of the money I sent to them in which at that time ******************* said he would put in a request for a refund for me. So I did not get in touch with him again until today on March 20, 2024 when I called again after leaving numerous messages with no return calls. I was told that I could not get a refund of my money because of the time frame which he stated it was 3 days after payment which was never told to me or discussed or read to me. So I am asking for your help to resolve this issue and help me get my money back please.

      **** ***** reached out to American Home Solutions for help to prevent foreclosure of her property at ******************************************************************. Her case was assigned to *****************. **** worked with **** and asked for several things; including 3 payments of $1,666.80. Money orders were sent. ****'s case was then transferred to ************************* for processing. The mortgage company denied the request for modification and consequently no money was ever sent to the mortgage company. After several attempts to appeal that decision and work with **** to prevent foreclosure, the house had to be sold. The house is now in contract to be sold with a move out date of January 24, 2024. We have tried numerous times to no avail to contact American Home Solutions to issue a refund of the money we sent in as requested by ****. Currently, American Home Solutions still has not responded to any of our requests regarding a refund of the money we sent in.

       ***************** replied via email and explained we would get a full refund. He sent a form that I notarized and returned via certified mail. He explained it could take 30 to 60 days. It has been a month and still no refund.

      American Home Solutions represented me in the process of getting a mortgage loan modification. We got all the through the process, to a potential agreement with the mortgage company. Then all communicating stopped. I submitted a letter to revoke a crease and desist order which they never forwarded to the mortgage company. The mortgage company sent the new mortgage paperwork to American Home Solutions, which they returned to the mortgage company instead of forwarding to me. Now I'm facing foreclosure due to the fact that before me and my mortgage company could figure out what happened the new mortgage paperwork expired. I made payments to American Home Solutions, that they said had to be made to prove I can still afford the mortgage. So in addition to not having the mortgage modification available to me anymore. I made payments to them that are not being credited to my benefit.The modification that has expired contained an interest rate reduction. Now I have to stay over abs the mortgage company is telling me my rate will go up instead of down...

      Good afternoon, 

      ************** Reached us out back in October 2022 to help him out with his mortgage. We explained to him that what we do here is that we work on his file to make it look good and then we obtained assistance from his lender. We also informed him that the screening process was free of charge and he seemed to understand that. 

      I process his file and then, filled out some forms and so. Yes, indeed, the process took a little bid longer than expected, but on June the 10th, he got approved on a partial claim modification. Taking into account he was on an active foreclosure, the partial claim removed the foreclosure and brought his account current again. I informed the client about the approval and also sent him the the letter to revoke all authorization we had with his lender so he can have direct communication with them. All of that was on June 10th. He was grateful and everything and did not received further communication or notifications from his lender. 

      Now he says that the modification was cancelled because he never returned the documents signed and notarized, but he cannot hold us accountable for that. That his responsabilty, not ours. We did our part, we got him the modification, but we could not sign the agreement but him.

      I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# ********, and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

      [Your Answer Here] my complaint has not been resolved. 

       Attached is the email returning the revocation of the C&D submitted to AHS. This is where they dropped the ball. They never forwarded this to the mortgage company. As a result AHS, received the modification. Which they did not forward to me. This is the cause of my complaint. This is why the original modification was able to expire. Their response also says the help was free, but I was required to send them three payments " to prove I can still afford the property" . Copies of the cashier checks sent to them are available upon request also.

      Once again, **************, we did send the letter to revoke the Cease and Desist letter as you can see in the attachment. We have not received further notifications/letters from your lender and we also deleted all your information from our system after we closed your case for security purpuses.
