      Never received my order I placed on September ******* , order number SR1736479. Contacted the company by email when I received the email notification saying order was delivered to let them know I did not receive it. Was told to contact them again in 5 days and they stated they would resend it express if i had not received it by then.Contacted them Oct 2 and was told to file a claim with *** and send them confirmation. Completed the form for *** claims only to receive a message stating claim can not be accepted at the company (Stride Rite) request. Sent Stride Rite the message and screenshots from *** stating they are not allowing me to file a claim. The company is not attempting to send me the products I ordered or refund my $253.61.

      Striderite canceled my order after I was supposed to receive 2 pairs of shoes for my kindergartener. When I called for a replacement, they sent me one pair of dirty shoes. Then they sent me the wrong shoes for a second pair and initially refused to give me a refund for shoes I paid for but did not receive. I am a long time customer and will never shop there again.The long version:I ordered 2 pairs of shoes from striderite 5 weeks ago. The shoes never arrived. Instead, I received an email from striderite after 3 weeks saying that part of my order had been canceled (one pair of shoes). The second pair of shoes had not arrived. I called striderite and was told that the second pair of shoes would arrive the next day. It did not. Instead, a pair of shoes in my son's size arrived 3 days later, and the shoes were dirty and had clearly been worn. They were not the shoes that I had ordered but they were in the correct size, and my kid can only wear striderite shoes because he has very wide feet. We have been ordering all of our shoes from your company since he was 2 years old. The customer service representative told me that the company would call me within 24 hours so I could order the second pair of shoes. You did not. So I called 2 days later. I asked about the shoes. ****** told me he could not help me, that no one else could help me, and that he did not have a supervisor. I called again, and the next person I spoke with agreed to overnight the second shoes I had ordered to be overnighted for free because we are moving to a different address in one week. The second pair of shoes arrived 3 days later. They were the wrong shoes in the wrong size. I just called striderite again and asked for overnight shipping because we are moving at the end of the week. ****** is the only person picking up the phone on customer service. Once again, he refused to help. He said that only expedited shipping was possible. This is clearly not true. Refused to give refund.

      I was sent the incorrect pair of shoes (they had the correct bag, but the wrong shoes inside). I messaged them and they immediately shipped a new pair express and they allowed me to keep the pair they had accidentally sent. Very happy with the customer service!

      Purchased the boots a while ago to use maybe once a year. Worn 3 time and the glue holding them together quit sticking together. I spent almost $200 on these boots for them to fall apart just walking in them. I contacted ******* online and nobody has replied to me at all. I would not recommend this company because they seem to not stand behind their products..at least as of yet. Been a loyal customer for years and have purchased maybe 10 pairs of Merrell shoes. Quality does not seem to be what it used to be.

      I was very disappointed with the customer service of their online retail store. I ordered a pair of school shoes for my daughter to be mailed to the house. They have a wide shipping window with no option to choose a shipping date (so that you can be sure to be home to receive the package). Needless to say, the package was left at the door and stolen before I even knew it was there. I emailed their customer service to report this with no reply, tried their chat with no reply, and eventually was able to get someone on the phone at their customer service. This person was marginally rude to me, said there was nothing they could do but that they would escalate it to their supervisor and I would get a call back within an hour. No call received. While I understand that not every company will be able to have a generous lost package policy, I don't appreciate being given the run around and made to feel like I'm in the wrong. In the future, I would never run the risk of ordering directly from Stride Rite again, especially when the same shoes are available from other vendors with better customer service.

      I ordered directly from them online and had issues with an insole in our toddler's shoe falling out and getting torn up on the first use. I have used their Contact Us web page to ask for help with this and with three emails sent over two months haven't received a single response. The "chat with us" box on their website says "usually responds within a few minutes" but I don't get any response there either. I expect a response in a timely manner when a company offers "contact us" links and I use them.

      Absolutely the rudest customer service reps ever! Even worse than cell phone carriers and that's hard to accomplish. We were sent the wrong shoe so I tried starting a chat. 1 hour later and still nothing so in the meantime, I contacted their 800# and called twice. Both reps were VERY rude with me hanging up on the second lady. So here I am sending an email like they advised me to do and wait up to 48 hours for a response. Then, you have to wait 2-3 weeks to process. How about, call me crazy, you send the right item the first time and not put customers through all this hassle. I've managed to stay away from this overrated company but had to go with them for soccer cleats for our 4 year old. This is definitely the last time I shop with them.

      Its criminal what they are doing by holding your money in hopes you wont check your credit card for the return credit. They will not issue a refund after receiving your mech back unless you follow up with them! Its happened 3 separate times now to **..I gave them the benefit of doubt the first time but after two more times *** realized its intent. They send you a return shipping label and thankfully I had the tracking numbers to prove they received the returns back, because after a month or so of not getting a credit back and I call, they claim they had a computer glitch but can suddenly on the spot issue a refund. On 3 separate occasions! They are hoping you wont check for your refund and Im sure they get away with it a lot.
