A few days ago I called to inquire about service needed for my vehicle. I inquired about service charge, and also about labor and parts. Once the representative informed me information I asked the representative if my vehicle was still under warranty. The representative informed me that she believed that it wasn't, but then informed me that it was. She then informed me that she wanted to double check with someone so she placed me on hold. A few minutes later she informed me that she confirmed with another employee that my vehicle was still under warranty. I confirmed the information given and she reassured me that my vehicle was under warranty, and that i would have a $150 deductible. We then set an appt for a few days later. Once I arrived for my appt and spoke to the service clerk he informed me that I did not have a warranty, and apologized. I took off a half days work so that I can make it to my appt and was also informed that I had to pay $189 instead of the $150 deductible. I asked to speak to manager and at the time no manager was available. I voiced my frustration and waited for the manager. The service manager came to speak to me to give me options, however he rudely made a comment stating "we're not fixing your car for free". I informed him that wasn't what I intended for them to do, however I was informed that I had an extended warranty that I thought would cover my issue, and that the person i spokw with informed me, and alao confirmed with another employee that i had a warranty. He offered to cover the deductible fee, however I left with a sour taste. I purchased my vehicle in 2021 and at that time I had a great experience. Now, I'm not to sure I will purchase a vehicle from West Herr again.
