On November 29 2023, I received an email stating that I was 40 days past due for $10.61 due in October and $312.29 due in November. I paid all past due credits on Dec 1st 2024. I asked if they had put me in for a delinquent payment. They stated they where unsure and if so could not take it back. I informed them that my account was on auto pay and that the card I used for the payment was canceled by my bank due to fraudulent activity. I inquired why I had not received prior notice to the payment being placed as delinquent with out notice as I have never missed a payment with them in over 2 years and to the best of my knowledge I have never missed a payment for anything in the last 10 years. I feel that they were quick to make the payment delinquent before reaching out to me. As soon as I was made aware of the issue I paid off all debt owed. We are looking to have to this delinquent mark removed from our credit reports.Business response

On December 1, 2023 Aaron had contacted the credit union in regards to his delinquency on his loan. He was unaware of the delinquency because he had originally been set up with an automatic payment from a debit card. However, the credit union had changed processing systems and the member had not yet set up a payment through the new program. When the member was made aware he made arrangements with the credit unions to correct the payment. The credit union team advised the member that they could submit a dispute through the credit bureau agencies and that the credit union could respond to correct that delinquency notice on their credit report. The member made an error and submitted the dispute on the better business bureau. At this time, the credit union is working with the member to update their credit report and the payments have been made current.Customer response
