This dealership did not do a full New York State Inspection on my 2010**** ********.The vehicle has custom wheels and the luck nuts need a special tool to remove them. And lately I have to replace a drive shaft that will cost me close to $950 to $1,000 Which I didn't have.

This truck passed new york state inspection at time of sale. This customer also has a waranty that covers her issues,  she never had to pay that money. She missed an appt here where we offered to help fix it. She went some where else that charged her. Why didn't she use her waranty and save her money. Unfortunate lug nut lock. i believe new ones are around $20, customer had car over a year.

The dealership did not  tell me that I didn't have to pay for the repair work on my  truck. The part  that is covered by the warranty on my truck is the drive shaft and not the carrier bearing, this will cost me a lot of money that I didn't have. I feel that the dealership should have to pay for the repair work on my truck.

On 6/29/22 I purchased a 2013 *** ****** from Mary S**** at Start Fresh Cars, gave down payment of $6,631.24 via check, plates and registration transferring from totaled suv to Acadia. Was given a 10 day temp registration and told the perm one would be mailed to me. Was told vehicle was inspected, had new brakes and an oil change. 6/30/22 I called Mary with complaints of horrible squeal from brakes in the back and sway bar links in the front. Was told “my mechanic is on vacation this week” then asked if I felt it was safe to drive, it was not. 7/5 I called Mary again, issues progressed to metal on metal brakes and seized caliper in the back, needed a tow not safe to drive, Mary said “we would come get it but we’re short staffed, I’m sure it’s safe to drive and you’re exaggerating”. 7/6 got the vehicle to Start Fresh Cars and questioned several discrepancies with the paperwork. 1 the down payment is short by $31.24 (she immediately wrote a check to me for that amount). 2 the mileage is incorrect, actual odometer was 99,998 miles and due to incorrect paperwork the warranty is invalid (spoke to them on 7/5) and paperwork needed to be redone with the correct mileage. 3 inspection was not done legally, would have NEVER passed a valid inspection without brakes. Mary stated she had been driving it and had no issues. I said I wanted to return the vehicle and get my refund and be done with her. She said I couldn’t return it without the title and would fix the vehicle at HER expense by the end of the day. 3 hours later she called me to coach me on what to tell the warranty company so they would pay for it. She also told me I had to sign a BLANK work order for the warranty company, I refused and she got upset. Fast forward a week and I still don’t have my perm registration. Upon checking the dmv the ****** is not registered to me and nothing was transferred over. I have 4 witnesses that have been with me on each interaction. Her mechanic is not certified.

This is an unfair complaint. These issues were resolved today as she showed up at our shop and handled. I'm sure if you reach out to her you can delete these accusations.

Better Business Bureau: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. I went to the business today and was called “crazy” and Koo koo for Cocoa Puffs” and told to “get the **** out of my business and never come back” when I questioned the registration and was told “you’re not getting your money back” and when she mentioned calling the police I advised her to call the state troopers as the city police don’t have jurisdiction. I ended up calling them. Mary S**** was beyond unprofessional with her irrational behavior, her name calling. The trooper had to tell her numerous times to stop yelling and to talk like an adult. If not for his presence I don’t believe I would have ever gotten the registration in my name. She also stated she “doesn’t work on any cars that aren’t mine” and I should be thanking her and need to change my complaint. She also proceeded to tell me how annoyed she was when we were waiting listening to us talk about our kids. Highly, highly unprofessional and can’t seem to get her lies and stories straight depending on who she’s talking to. My friend who has a nephrostomy bag (tube through kidney) asked if she could the restroom and was told “yeah at circle k” and denied access to the bathroom in the lobby at Start Fresh Cars. She had to walk almost a mile down the road with a full urine bag. Truly childish behavior from Mary S****. A grown woman in her late 50’s throwing temper tantrum’s over denial of warranty paying the claim she rewrote without my signature. Claim was denied due to false information from Mary and her “mechanic”. If nothing else I just want to warn future potential victims to stay as far away as humanly possible from this dealership and especially Mary S****.  Regards, ***** *******

This woman is a liar. She is crazy, that's why I threw her out of our establishment and called her koo koo for cocoa puffs, when she came in here with 2 other people yelling and causing a scene. She has a good car as the cop told her...she is wrong, as the cop explained to her. Im glad I dont have to deal with this Karen anymore,. I'll see her in court when I sue her for the $601 dollars she owes me for stiffing on a bill. She is a horrible customer. I would not recommend anyone selling her anything as she will just complain about it, play victim, cause drama, make **** up, stiff them out of money,  and try to ruin peoples business. She has a great car, and she knows it. I'll see her in court to collect my payment. As far as her friend having to go to the bathroom, the cops told her to stay out of my establishment until they got here because of the way these people behaved, its my fault they had to go to the bathroom? That makes me a bad person, or is she a victim because they have a bag or because they walked? even though they came here in a car. Why couldnt they drive somewhere to pee. No need to walk. Ridiculous. See what I'm going through here? ? .  She does not have money coming back. She owes me $601 dollars!!!The trooper never did not tell me to stop yelling, they threw her out!! And my mechanic is certified. And listening to her play victim and bitch about her kids while we did a repair on her car made me feel sorry for her kids. She is not kind. I suggest she get medicated for her so called anxiety she kept talking about. It's serious.
