We bought a bed from Ashley Furniture in Winchester, VA last year & it actually was a good bed until we moved a month ago & the middle support beam fell apart. Long story short, after trying to rig up a middle support, we decided to cut our loses & get another bed. We bought the next new bed from Ashley Furniture in Winchester, as well. Our salesman was a great young man! However, once the delivery men assembled it & we laid the mattress on it, the middle support beam popped off. This happened when our dog jumped on it. We hadn't even laid on it yet! My husband fixed it. Our 2nd night, I rolled over not even an hour after going to bed & the left side of the bed collapsed. We took pictures for customer service to evaluate & laid our mattress on the floor to sleep on. My husband examined the bed & determined the left frame was actually warped, plus the screws they used were way too short. He got larger screws & fixed it. I sent all info & pictures to Ashley customer service as I had been guided to do. Days later I received a call stating it was not a manufacturer defect & we'd be responsible for buying new parts, plus the cost of the repair technician. We had the bed 2 nights, & 2 nights there were issues, yet it was deemed not a manufacturer defect?! It's completely unacceptable. I'm spreading the word about the poor quality & poor customer service. We will never purchase from Ashley Furniture again.Review from Thomas M

Submitted a claim to Ashley Furniture on their Party Time Recliner that is recalled due to a fire hazard. Claim #********. The claim has been under review for over 4 months now. After 2 1/2 months I called again and they escalated it. Now its another month and nobody has contacted me, so they are reviewing it again. Early on they told me my local Ashley Furniture would be able to have a repair person come to fix the issue. Local Ashley Furniture says its not their responsibility since its through national Ashley Furniture. Would not recommend buying anything from a company that puts out couches with fire hazards and then cant pushes you around when you try to follow up on their recall.Review from Stacie B

If I could give no stars I would. We spend $4500 on a couch and all of the back cushions they gave me are mismatched. Some are filled with pillows, others are filled with stuffing, one end goes over the arm of the couch and the cushion on the other end does not. The shapes are completely different and it looks ridiculous. I have been trying to get matching replacement pillows since April 2023. One year later and I still have not received a thing. They will reach out with an email, I will respond with all the info requested, and I will hear nothing back for months until I reach out again. They will then request the same information and the cycle starts again. For ONE YEAR now! Do not order or buy from them.Review from At A

Great experience, Tracey was extremely helpful & patient. Took us directly to items that would work for our situation, let us take our time looking over/trying out the merchandise made several suggestions, & when we found the right item, set up the delivery. Was pleasant & would shop there again. Wish we would have started there, this was our 3 furniture store before finding what would work for our needs. Kudos to Tracey for all her helpReview from Donald D

We spent over $4000 for the ****************** livingroom set including a couch, loveseat and reclining chair. This is reclining furniture. On the website that has the illustrations for each piece it CLEARLY shows a line to the rear of the furniture with a circle and says "ZERO RECLINE" for the clearance. This is ABSOLUTELY FALSE!!!! After the furniture was delivered it has to be LITERALLY 15" away from the wall. At another spot on their pages it says 9" (which contradicts ALL illustrations) but they fail to tell you that the top back of the chair is already 6' tilted back over the base!. Even set out 15" it still hits the wall! After trying to contact Ashley they never even replied. When we contacted the Furniture Depot in ***** who we bought it through they said "No Worries", you can return it for a $600 restocking and delivery fee!!!! We emailed them back and told them that the LEAST they could do is contact Ashley and tell them to change their false information so other people don't fall into the same trap! They said they would but then totally ignored any more discussion and would not reply to any emails. AT NO TIME WERE WE DEMANDING OR NASTY. I guess they just choose to IGNORE the whole thing!Review from Debra G

Purchased two lamps. Initially, I was informed on day of purchase that it would be a few weeks for delivery to my residence. After three weeks passed I phoned inquiring about them...only to be informed that it would be an additional 2.5-3 months. Just be honest Ashley Furniture.Wellsville Carpet Town Inc Response

Purchased leather sofa and love seat. Chose to purchase extended warranty. There are 4 seats with electric recliner. Leather softener is used every 2 weeks. A deafening sound happens every time the recliner is raised or lowered. The store manager states there is nothing he can do to help. The company that oversees Ashley Furniture’s warranties refuses to help, saying they will not send out a technician to even look at the furniture. The 2 women that answer the phones are very rude. I will never buy anything else from Ashley. It’s hard to believe they are still in business when you look into the reviews of the company.Review from Branka M.

I purchased a bedroom set on June 24th at the Ashley Avon store. I bought a queen bed, triple dresser, upright chest of drawers, two nightstands and two lamps and a new TV stand. During the first delivery in July, there was paint dripping on the left side of the triple dresser, a hole in the bottom of one nightstand, the top drawer of the chest of drawers would not close, and the TV stand glass had a crack in it on the right corner. The edge of the footboard was all scratched so when I put my hand on it, I cut my finger and started bleeding. We asked these would be replaced. Parts were sent by mail and the tech guy came to replace these bad parts. However, he could not because they were the wrong hue more yellow than gray and white like ours. The second glass from the TV stand also had a crack on the left side. So he wrote a report and now we were supposed to get the triple dresser, the nightstand, and another glass for the TV replaced. When they came, the triple dresser was acceptable. The new nightstand had the edge peeling off, so the driver did not replace the original with the second one. The second glass for the TV stand had a crack on the left side. The tech exchanged the first glass with the second even though it also had a crack. The third glass and the third nightstand came in the mail this week and the tech was supposed to come today I thought they told me Monday today, but it's another two weeks. My son-in-law, Jeff, brought his sander to smooth the rough edges of the footboard because your tech guy would not repair it. I cannot believe that such a big store has very poor or non-existent efficiency with their service. The manager of the store, Garth L**** has done nothing to assist me in getting this bedroom set situation resolved. ****** ** *******Review from Richard M

Zero stars if possible. They are scam artists and the place needs to be put out of it’s…..er I mean it’s customer’s misery. Here it goes: We bought a dining room table with the 5 year extended warranty. 4 years into it we spilled water on the table which seeped into a seam on top. Since we didn’t catch it until about a hour later, it swelled the particle board around said seam (which I presume is what this crap is actually made of). We made a claim with the warranty company and they refused to cover it, stating it’s “normal wear and tear”. Huh? I surmised they no longer made that particular table so they could not replace and or repair it, so this was their easy way out. I then personally went to the Ashley store where we bought it and tried the polite and friendly approach. They said it was out of their hands and it was between us and the warranty company. The associate was fortunately sympathetic and agreed to send an email to the “warranty company” expressing my frustration. The following day we were given a $599 credit to used to buy something else. Not what I wanted but felt it was a decent good faith compromise. The fine print on the store credit, stated you could not use it for “online only” purchases, but everything else was fair game. So basically if you found something online that they sold in their stores (or they could get) it would work. We then found a console table we liked for you guessed it, $599. We went to the Ashley store with the hopes of ordering said table and we could call it even. I even figured we’d have to pitch in a few bucks for fees and such. On arrival, to our surprise, we were told that was the “online price” and it would cost more if they had to get it for us. She looks it up and are you ready? The table was now $999! $400 dollars more! The associate had the audacity to say that at least half the price was covered. I told her that there was a reason their parking lot is deserted and we left. BUYERS BEWARE!!!!!Review from rashaunne G

Rg in Ohio I ordered a dining set from Ashley expecting the quality they were known for the 1st month the finish started peeling from the table top and the chairs. I reached out to them and submitted claim they rejected it needed pictures ok sent pics only to be told claim denied due to no product defect. What! How does the finish peel of table and the chairs! I was asked the ridiculous question of did I wipe table off with soap! What? If I did it didn't consist of acid to eat the finish off a table and the chairs. I asked again to appeal denial was told this is the end of the road. What terrible products you all are cranking out and never will I ever buy from you again
