In April, 2021 I contacted Yoder Roofing to get estimate to put metal roofing on my house roof. In October 2021 I received revised estimate as cost of supplies went up and he increased the cost. On Oct. 26, 2021 they started on roof and worked for 3 days. I paid $8,020 with 5 year craftmanship warranty and 45 year material warranty. On December 13, 2021 I called Yoders to inform of a roof problem. It was raining and because of the amount of material they put over the existing roof, the rain was going to the lowest point and causing an extreme waterfall problem in two corners of my porch. He tried to talk me out of it and refused to look at it. He said it was because of storm. I tried to convince me it was because of the metal he put was too far over roof and water not going into gutter. Finally after much persuasion he said he would look. He never came. I've texted them 2 more times but he never responded nor came. We have since had a lighter rain and problem still existed. I went out and took pictures and a video and you can clearly see where the problem is. I want him to fix it or let me get someone else to fix it and he pay the cost. It is definitely a construction problem. Rain goes to it's lowest point and if he would saw off about 2 inches, the rain would not seek that corner for all the water. I have had to put 2 buckets out and it was full after the light rain. This problem will cause problems to the foundation in the future if not repaired. He said I have 5 year warranty and it's only been 2 months and he has refused to fix it.Business response

2.25.2022, BBB received phone call from Mr. Leroy Yoder. He said he is willing to make a trip to consumer's home to look at issue. ***** is requesting ***** ****** call him at ###-###-#### to arrange a date and time. If call would go to vm, ***** asks that ***** leave him a vm and he will return call asap.Customer response

Mr. Yoder, the roofer, did come by, looked at it and thought of a resolution and said he would be back Monday. I felt what he suggested would not work, he was rude to me, talked over me and wouldn't look at the video I showed him on my Iphone. I also did a drawing which he would not look at and smirked at me along with his 2 other helpers. I at one point said: quit talking over me and being disrespectful. He came by the following Tuesday, with some gutters and a metal piece that he said would stop the water falling in one place. I had to call him again as the gutters he put up were leaking where the seams joined. We have not had a hard rain since that date so have not been able to view to see if the other things he did worked. As soon as we have another hard rain, I will then judge if it is actually "fixed".
