On Thursday, I went to budget to rent a car and prior to me driving off with the car, I checked for damages. On the car I found a lot of damage especially in the front passenger tire. It was two holes in the tire in which I took pictures of. I informed the worker of the damage and she stated that they are already aware of the damage and that I should be fine, I then told her that I would like a different rental but she insisted that I would be fine. So on Sunday, as I'm driving on the highway, I kept hearing a thumping sound. And on my way to work that evening, it was a slight pop noise, so I checked the tire and the front passenger tire was super flat, so I had to call a tow. I called budget roadside assistance and they sent out a tow truck to change the spare tire. On Monday, I went to budget to switch out the car and they are now saying that they will charge me $200 for the tow, but I should not have to pay this since this was Budget’s fault. They should have replaced the car instead of providing me with a damaged car that I did advise them of trying to be proactive and avoid this issue.
