Scheduled cleaning for a single-family property on Ada Street for July 2, 2024. Received a quote for $344.00. Paid the first half of the invoice of $172.00 on June 26, 2024. On the scheduled cleaning day I mentioned to the cleaning lady that before she left, cleaning was to be inspected by my husband to confirm cleaning was indeed done in the areas mentioned during the initial consultation. After cleaning was done, she left and had not received a phone call stating cleaning had been completed, and never had a walk-through on site (as l requested) with my husband to confirm cleaning had been done. Instead of this happening, I called the cleaning lady after she left the property. She stated the inside of the kitchen cabinets and drawers were cleaned, cobwebs removed in basement, basement floor and kitchen floor thoroughly swept. Upon me and my husband inspecting the cleaning process on the evening of June 26, 2024, those items mentioned that were cleaned, were not cleaned. I called the company explaining the issue to ***** and also sent her a text. I explained to her I should not be billed for the remaining balance of $172.00 since the cleaning was not fully completed. My husband and I spent the rest of the evening cleaning the areas mentioned above the cleaners did not do. I received a text from ***** that my request for a refund would take a day or two. When my credit card statement arrived in the mail, the company charged $172.00 to my credit card on the day the cleaning service was scheduled on July 2, 2024. A refund had not been issued. I called the company and spoke with ***** on July 31, 2024 explaining my credit card was still charged and a refund of $172.00 was not issued. She stated she would call me back with a resolution. I have yet to receive a phone call.Business response
