They were hired by another contractor during the month of November. They replaced all of the plumbing in which I was stuck paying $3,500. I had an inspector come into the property to inspect a beam when they pointed put the bad workmanship of the plumbing installed. There were no shut offs added to 1st or 2nd floor areas. Also they left the old galzinized drain in the sink which should have been replaced. Putting planting PvC in for the tube facet leaving it week. In which should have been put in with copper. Per the 2nd plummer I had to hire to come behind thier errors to correct these issues. They failed to inspect and check their work. It was a lazy job in which corners were cut.

I'm wanted to attach pictures of the old plumbing left inside of the bathroom. In which I had to pay another plumber to fix along with having to rip up my brand new renovating bathroom.

Dye Plumbing Inc was contacted by ******* from Bright Builders for plumbing work at **** ********* ***. ***** ** ***** – Owned by ****** *****. ******* informed us that Miss ***** would be paying directly. Up to this point I had no contact with Miss *****, So I reached out to her and went over the scope(description) of the plumbing to be done. On 11/21/2023 We sent her an estimate(attached) describing exactly what we would do and the material of which we would we use on the job. She called me that day and we went over and agreed on the estimate and costs - she gave us approval to proceed. When we finished the work, I sent her an invoice and she paid. She mentioned that she had a lot of problems with the GC Bright Builders. I agree that they were not doing a great job. I believe she is upset with Bright Builders and taking it out on us. She called and said the plumbing inspector informed her that CPVC was not up to code for water piping. Being a master plumber in business for 23 years, we use CPVC every day on multimillion dollar jobs. I asked for the plumbing inspectors name who was stating our work was not up to code she declined to provide their name. We work with plumbing inspectors in summit county daily. I believe it was just another plumber who doesn’t know the code. In her complaint she stated that there were no shut off valves. We installed a new shut off valve at the main water service. Angle stops should go on every stub out for each fixture after the drywall and cabinets are installed which was not included in our scope of work. The sink was to be removed and turned into an island which was later changed and left in place. The drain lines in the house are cast iron or galvanized. We were not contracted to see if the lines were good or needed to be replaced.

In reviewing the pictures Miss ***** attached - they show the bathroom lavatory drain line that connects to the toilet. The sink drain that was discussed was for the kitchen sink. The plan was to install an island sink but the location was not moved or changed due to space constraints. No work was contracted to inspect, replace or move any other drain lines.
