Since getting a *** from them we had 2 recalls on it. We recently took it in for an oil change and for the latest recall to be taken care . We soon started having a light stay on and had to take it back . It wasnt on before we had them fix the recall. The mechanic said there was something wrong with the seatbelt that could affect the airbags so they gave us a rental from their shop. That was fine. But we got a flat and now they are saying we have to use our insurance to get the car towed . I think that isnt right . The salesman is great but the service people are disappointing . We made a mistake getting a car there . We are paying way too much for a car that has constant recalls and bad service by the mechanics! I will recommend to all my co workers and people I know to stay away from VanDevere KiaReview from Michael C

For a number of years, I have enjoyed my ******** *** 350. Each time I drop off the *** for service, I am treated as though I am the most important customer in the world. I am never talked down to. Never interrogated if I am not completely satisfied with a repair. A day or two later the ************* calls to check if I am completely satisfied. It is easy to give the ******** dealership a score of 10/10.My city driving car is a 2022 *************** I love this car too. Unfortunately, the treatment by the ************* at Vandevere Kia in *****, pales in comparison. There was an issue the minute I drove the **** off the lot after a recent service visit. Upon returning home, I called their ************* and did not hear back for one hour. Unlike the ******** dealership, the ************* *** was harsh and accusatory. In short, if I wanted the issue fixed, it was up to me to assume responsibility. That night, I emailed the manager of the Vandevere ************* as instructed. Its been three days and no response. I found these words on their website. Our team is motivated to do right by customers like you, to put your needs ahead of our own, and to act with honesty and integrity. If you choose to service your *** at Vandevere, be wary.Review from Christopher S

Very shady service department. Openly stated they do not complete a full inspection after signing documents stating they did. Almost cost me an entirely new set of tires had I not caught the issue after they did not.Review from Tina P

Bought my son a 2013 Kia and have issues since day one! From the engine to the air conditioner to so called changing the oil. I will never shop here again. When they supposedly changed the oil, it was still black! And you could tell they never did anything to it. Had a problem with the air conditioning and they supposedly fixed the problem, but not! Engine light came on and they said it needed a new motor. Well now he has zero air conditioning and the light is still on. They claim it’s the gas cap. This is the worst car dealership I’ve ever done business with. I said RUN as fast as possible from them.Review from Bob W

Took my *** to the business. They told me that it needed a very expensive repair, which I couldn't afford. I ended up trading in my car only to find out two days later that there was a recall for that part. The business should have known about the recall and told me. It would have saved me from trading in my car. I am very unhappy with VanDevere Kia.Review from Chris B

After leasing two vehicles and sending a referral to them to buy a vehicle, they tried dishonestly putting in a $1000 "market adjustment" into my lease buyout was good practice. Had I not noticed it in the quotes and found my original paperwork that showed the exact dollar amount of my residual for buyout I would have never known.When I questioned this price I was called by the "Sales Manager" ***************************, who proceeded to lecture me on the pandemic and how the owners had directed them to include this "adjustment" in all lease buyouts and how somehow I was the only one of "hundreds" to even question it. I asked how they felt it was ethical to add a fee given I had a signed, legal contract stating my buyout was an exact dollar amount, and he proceeded to gaslight me about prices of groceries and if I still bought food. As if I had a contract with Giant Eagle for the price of milk? When I informed him that he would be losing me as a customer for this, he just proceeded to tell me other dealerships were going to charge $3000. I told him I was going to explore my options and literally the first two *** dealerships I spoke to, the first had a $500 mark up and the other did not add any fees to buyouts.So needless to say, I did my buyout through ************** with the help of ***************************. They gave me a great deal on my buyout, treated me with respect and they will now get all of my future business and will be getting my referrals. I had to apologize to my friend who I referred to them and share my story with them.All lease buyout people, PLEASE READ YOUR BUYOUT DETAILS CLOSELY AT VANDEVERE. This is an absurd and dishonest practice. I look forward to discussing this experience with *** Finance.Lastly, just to put an exclamation point on this horrific experience, upon looking at the Vandevere website, I confirmed **** had even given me a false last name. Told me his last name was "****." What does this say about him and Vandevere? A fake name??Review from Cheryl E.

The Finance person is deceptive, misleading, and more importantly unethical. My husband car lease was near the end so we visited the dealership to determine if keeping the lease and/or purchasing the vehicle. Per the sales person their inventory was limited perhaps months away. Therefore we decided to buy out the lease to purchase the car. After waiting nearly 3 hours and we had our pets waiting in the car as well. Once we got to the finance person cubicle he pointed out the interest rate would be ****% at $334 monthly payment. We later received a welcome letter from ***** Fargo Dealership. This was a surprise sent the last 3 ***'s we purchase were all done through Kia ******** With our Credit score above 800 this was never mentioned during the close. Secondly, come to finding out we are charged an additional daily interest this is an additional $1.040.00 dollars a year on top of the ****%. I specifically asked as a co-signer the credit reporting would only be on my spouse since this was his car. The finance guy said "absolutely". This was a lie! I sent *** CEO a certified letter communicating my experience and the business practice of deceit. I still have yet to hear from their ************ My advice is to stay away from this dealership. I am now force to seek other refinancing means since we refuse to pay an additional interest. I will never do business again with *** in general customers are not in their best of interest after nearly 3 new cars almost 19 years this is how they treat their most value customer.Review from John G

Had my car serviced and was told there were repairs needed. Bought vehicle under Warranty Forever. On the day of the visit was told the warranty company was not allowing the repairs. Was told they would follow up and get back to me. The visit was on July 6, text to ask how my service was on July 7 from the dealership with no response. Contacted via text again on July 13, but still no response. Posted dissatisfaction on the ******** website was removed within ******************************************************************************************************************* with a follow-up.Review from Stephen H

Very misleading, unethical, dishonest advertising! Advertising on their website shows that you can lease a 2022 ********** for $209/month and zero down plus tax title reg. When i went there ,after confirming that i could get the deal through text messages but had to come reserve an incoming car, i was given a quote that was not even close. The quote was $270/month and $2161 down. When i asked how this is so far from the advertised price he said oh the one on the advertising is $1000 less than the ones we have coming in. I just got up thanked him or his time and walked out.I expected as much when i couldn't get an out the door # given through communications before coming to the dealership. So shameful and unethical. I' give a zero star i i could!
