Hired photographer for 2 hours for my wedding. Never was I contacted to be told that my photos were lost. I contacted ****** 2 months after my wedding wondering where the pictures were. I was giving a lie! I was told her sd card got wet and she didn't want to tell me to stress me out. Not only did she lie more than once to me. She also never returned my messages as well. She was very rude to my guests at my wedding and I was told it looked like she didn't even want to be there. I need this problem resolved!!Business response

Hello, I am ****** **** owner of Sophia Faith Photography LLC. I wanted to begin by saying I was contacted by ****** ******* step mother on May 19, 2023. She was asking about pricing and packages for her daughter in law's upcoming wedding. She said she would like to book. She called me on the phone and told me her daughter in law ****** would be getting a hold of me. I heard nothing back and forgot about it. I require a $300 deposit to book a wedding. I also require a signed contract. Since I heard nothing back I assumed she did not want to book. I have several people asking about pricing and saying they would like to book. Some do book with me and some don't. I booked other sessions that day because I assumed with no contract signed and no other further message that they didn't want to book. On August 21, 2023 I received a message from ****** asking if I would be attending her wedding Saturday. To my surprise I told her she never booked and never signed a contract. I didn't want to leave her hanging that day so I rearranged my schedule and moved my family sessions. I signed a contact with her step mother on August 25, 2023 the day before her wedding. We never had any further meetings and I didn't meet with the bride until the day of her wedding. ******'s step mother paid me the full price $1,000 for bridal portraits which is 2 hours of shooting time. I drove an hour there and an hour back. After her wedding she stated in texts messages how thankful she was for me and how much she appreciated me. I have attached those texts messages. After leaving her wedding my sd card got submerged in water in my bag. Complete mistake on my part. I paid for two program recoveries after finding this out. Which ended up being $90 for each program. I have receipts for those as well. I was able to deliver almost 250 professionally edited photos. The photos she received were portraits of the bride and groom, wedding party and entire wedding ceremony. She was only missing about 20 images. She received a usb and a wedding gallery book. I told her about the problem in which she would be missing about 20 family portraits which is devastating. I refunded her $500 out of $1,000. I also explained I would be willing to drive up and retake any photos she would like for free. A few weeks later she texted me demanded I give her the sd card after her gallery book with her usb and money was delivered. She then began to throw many insults about her images and how rude I was which I was not aware of until that day. I told her I do not give any sd cards out with raw images for legal reasons because I had two other clients images on it. Also I do not ever give out raw images in general because it would not accuractly portray my business. She then began to call me a liar and trashed me on social media and threatened to call the BBB on me because I could not give her the sd card. I have attached her text messages stating that I did an amazing job on her photos. I also attached the Venmo I sent her of $500. Once again ****** lied. She just stated she paid for two programs for the SD card to get looked at I have proof of the messages she sent me saying she paid $80.00 for a program and had her uncle look at sd card multiple times. Not only did she wait 2 months to tell me she ruined the SD card she continues to lie. If some calls them a "pofessional " which she was far from it. They would invest in a true photography camera. ****** continues to ignore the problems she made! She blames it on something else every time. I did thank her for coming to my day and doing last minute. I also stated with the confusion with my step mother that if she couldn't make my wedding then let me know so I could find someone else. She could have said no since she couldn't seem to handle more than one shoot a day! I will attach the text messages that she sent me saying prices and what she had done to the SD card. Because it is different than what she stated in her response. But that is what liars do I guess!!!Customer response

And I did not receive as many pictures as she is saying also. Multiples of same pictures!
