Worse dealership I have ever dealt with !! Was good when they were making the deal for me to lease but once it came to paper work they messed up everything!! Traded my lease in on another May 8th and still today June 20th their paper work is still not correct with the bank. I had to call the bank and get all info for Don Wood so they can do their job right. Now my temp tag is up and they said I would have to go to BMV to get another. Stated first paper work was missing lease cost for miles over needed me to resign and that nothing in the cost changed but was a lie they added on to price and monthly payment. Not only did they mess my stuff up but my son also bought from them around same time and his is still messed up too.Review from Bonnie S

Don Wood Automotive in Rockbridge Ohio does NOT tell you the truth, **** ***** was the dealer and we specifically asked is motor & transmission sound he said yes only one owner of the vehicle. Within 24hrs the check engine light came on, I wanted to return the van he said no we will not take it back but we will fix issue. We took van back on Thurs 2/15 and they called said can pick up 2/16 transmission 2qts low. We parked van at home did not drive till Sunday and while driving to do shopping the check engine light came back on for the same thing clutch in the transmission. We took it back up to the dealership and parked it in front of their service door and left them message engine light back on. We want this transmission fix correctly and we will be filing complaint also with the Ohio Attorney Generals office this morning.Review from Jonathan L

Absolute pathetic excuse for a dealership. Worked for 3 days with **** trying to buy a Sequoia. I have a check ready for a vehicle, but **** and the sales manager refuse to give me numbers unless I finance with Toyota because they will make money on the finance. Avoid this place at all costs. Dishonest crooks! I will be taking my business somewhere else.Review from William K

Purchased a 2018 Honda Civic - Knew the AC needed the lines replaced upon purchase. I was assured they will overnight them to me early the following week. Over a month after purchase...countless calls to the dealer and transfers to voicemails that never once got returned, I got a text today they have the AC lines ready to mail me. I asked if they plan to overnight them, and I was given an ultimatum: Remove my negative review and they will overnight the part!!!!!! I have been waiting over a month for these lines - a couple more days won't hurt. I politely declined to accept their ransom! If you look at enough reviews on Don Wood (I recommend **** Reviews on Don Wood Ford) - it paints a very clear picture of a dealership that only focuses on the bottom line. If they can sell you a junk vehicle and make a profit, that is what they will do. Calls regularly go unanswered. Don't take my word for it!! Read reviews - there is a difference between a disgruntled customer here and there, and the PILES OF ONE STAR REVIEWS due to a dealership having no regards for customer satisfaction.Review from Ephram A

Awful customer service in their service department. THE WORST!!!!! Bought a brand new Hyundai Santa Fe XL 2019. At 130000 miles one night it just died in the road. Had it towed to mechanic. He read the code and said it was showing a crankshaft code. He reccomended we tow to dealership. Don Wood Hyundai has had it 3 months and still can't tell me what caused the engine failure. They have not even checked the crankshaft which was the original code. I have been in contact with them multiple times a week. Always the same answers. We don't know why your engine failed. And no, we don't have any loaners. They want me to put a new engine in for 10,000 dollars. I want to know why it failed before I do that. If their engines are shit why would I want to spend 10,000 for another shit engine. Did some research on their engines and discovered a lawsuit they lost where their engines, due to machining issues in Korea, had a reaction with oil. The oil would cause metal inside the engine to deteriorate causing metal shavings to float in the oil and clog the crankshaft. When I asked them about this they said that lawsuit had only covered 4 cylinder engines and my engine was a 6 cylinder. They have still not checked the crankshaft. My advice if this is Don Wood Service I would never by a vehicle from any of his dealerships or reccomend his service department for anything. Not even an oil change.Review from Ivan S

Bought a 2003 Cadillac with 88,000 miles. Didn’t even get to make 1st payment before I started leaking antifreeze. Took car back to dealership for them to fix. I’ve made 4 car payments since without having the car back or fixed. Every time I contact them about it they always say they’ll call back and never do. I call and ask what’s the hold up they act like they don’t know what’s condition the car is in or where they put it for that matter. They’re procrastinating on purpose in hopes that I will come get the car and it can be my problem. Don’t think the car was inspected.Review from Thomas G

I wanted to leave a NO Star review. I received the part within 4 days, I opened it on the fifth day, noticed it did not have a cover on it at all, after I requested it to have a red cover. They said they sent me an email about it. I get hundreds of emails a day. When I called them about it, on the fifth day. of course they said that I can not return it for a refund. It does me no good to have a product without the cover. I already have that. DUH.... DO NOT GET YOUR PARTS FROM HERE UNLESS YOU ARE VERY CLEAR ON THE PART AND SHIPPING PRICE, ETC. I'LL B HAPPY TO RETURN FOR MY REFUND, TECHNICALLY I HAVE NO USE FOR THIS PRODUCT.Review from Charles M

Hyundai/Kia service-daughters car started making noise on Nov 28th, called dealer service and they told her not to drive car. No appointment available until Dec 8th. They called Dec 7th and asked where care was. Rescheduled Dec 20th, charged $150 for diagnostics, told her turbo had to be replaced. they ordered parts that were due in on Dec 22, did not arrive due to storm. Keep calling and asking for return call and never happened, parts finally in on Dec 30th. Repair not completed until Jan 3 but did not get called. Found out repair done because I went in to to ask why not done.Review from Judie B.

I traded in my vehicle in October and got a 2015 Buick enclave. I was told the vehicle had been serviced but that night a light came on and the car was jerking and I knew it wasn’t normal. I went back the next day and they assured me it was fine. A week later I was back in there to have the service light checked out and to see what was causing the vibration/ jerking. The man in the service department told me that the car was in fact NOT ever serviced by them! That their service department never checked this car out! I would have never ever traded my car for a car that was not inspected! Well they told me their codes told them it was the plugs and could causing the issue which they said they would fix. I waited another week and got the car in there only to get it back the same. They also never changed the coil. They told me to take it to their Buick location about 45 minutes away. The other location wanted to charge me $150 for a diagnostic test. But I have a power train warranty so if it was something with the motor or transmission it would be covered. I tried more than 15 times to get in touch with a manager “*****” and I’m still waiting for a phone call back. I finally got it into the Buick location and now I find out it needs a torque converter. They want me to pay a 500$ deductible to fix this car I literally just bought. Now if I broke the car I would understand it’s my responsibility but I didn’t cause this problem! They knew there was problems with this car and took advantage of me BIG TIME! On top of not getting straight answers about all the work they’ve supposedly done and no managers ever calling me back. I would like them to fix the car, or take it back at this point.
