I took my dog to the Avon Pet Lodge from Thursday, September 21- Tuesday, September 26th. I do believe that my dog was neglected and mistreated during his time there. -The owner did not give my dog his medications -I believe he sat in his own urine and feces the entire time. He now has a bladder infection from it which is caused by feces getting into his genital. -He came back discolored and covered in filth (when we got home I bathed him and the water was brown/grey) -He is skinnier, looks like he lost a few lbs. -He peed for 45 seconds straight the second he got outside so was probably never taken outside to the bathroom -He was extremely thirsty when we got home I recently took my dog there and I do believe he was neglected and got a bladder infection from it. The owner told me my dog didn't eat which is IMPOSSIBLE (there is NO way my dog didn't eat, he is the most food motivated animal on this planet.) The owner told me he bathed him in the morning at 8 AM. When I got there at 11 AM to pick him up, it took him forever to bring him out. When he did he claimed my dog pooped and peed all over himself (which he NEVER does) and he had to bathe him again. My dog smelled absolutely horrible. Then the second he got outside he peed for 45 seconds straight. Then the second he got home, he drank 3 ENTIRE bowls of water. He also looks skinnier and his bones are popping out more. We get home and he PEES in the house which he has never done and also is now showing signs of a bladder infection. He also is a white dog who looks discolored under his mouth and on his legs. I did bathe him when I got home and the water turned GREY so he was covered in filth. I do believe my dog was not fed, he didn't give him his medication (pills are all in there,) wasn't taken outside to go potty, and never had his "bath" that I paid for. We aren't allowed inside to see where the dogs are staying (red flag) and the owner talks in circles nervously for 20-30 mins while you are there.
