Terrible customer service.Drove 75 miles to look at a car that was advertised.Called them before we left to let them know we were on our way.Arrived and spent 30 minutes on lot looking at a used dirty vehicle.Despite the fact it was filthy we liked the vehicle and were ready to talk about final details which involved a cash purchase .Salesman finally showed up.We had a brief discussion and found used vehicle came with no warranty. We thought it might have 30 or 90 day warranty considering the vehicle had less than 10,000 miles.Okay we still have interest.Lets take a test drive. No we don’t allow test drives. What you expect we’re going to buy a car without any warranty or without taking it for a test drive. When we said we weren’t interested in a car with zero warranty without a test drive salesman wanted us to visit with manager. Not sure what that had to do with anything I mean we had already been on his lot extensively inspecting a car without being tended to.The vehicle just happened to be sitting on display right out the front doors.Terrible customer service and a lost sale.If service department operates like sales department I would steer clear.Review from Rebecca H

Initially I would have rated our experience with Germain a 5/5 experience. Our salesperson, Justin, was great and the experience was fantastic. When we test drove the Honda Pilot we were purchasing we did notice a noise in the front end, kind of a whirring noise and some tire vibration. We pointed this out and asked to have it looked at but because the service department was closed and it was a certified vehicle, we chose to purchase and then call in to make a service appointment. When we got got down the road the same evening, we noticed a nail in one of the tires. Germain got us in right away and replaced the tire and we were hopeful it would fix the issue with the noise and vibration. Within the week, we called again to have it serviced for the same issue. They checked out the tires and said "the tires are just loud tires" but had no explanation for the vibration especially when breaking. Finally, because we continued to experience the issues, we took it to our local repair shop who told us the tires are so feathered and cupped from misalignment that they are not road worthy and all four tires need replaced despite having good tread. I called Germain fully expecting them to be apologetic and take care of the issue because we not only just purchased this vehicle but because we have taken it in twice already for this persistent issue. Germain told me that as far as they are concerned, the alignment checked out and the tires tread were at a 7 or 8. So here we are, a month after purchase with issues from day 1 that they are taking no responsibility to rectify.Review from Leanna J

Do not go to!!!!!! Bought my 2010 Toyota prius hybrid. First went to go test drive it, we had to put our own gas in outside the dealership. We did get reimbursed. My mothers’ mechanic gave it the green light to buy. We bought the car with very little negociating on their end because they convinced us it was a great car! Car fax clean!! No accidents, some cosmetic paint spots. Fair enough paid out the door 7,000.00 offered no warranty because of high miles. (around 196,000) I've had foreign cars bought with higher miles. The sales cashier almost shorted Me 100.00 miscounting. Fixed recounted. Now, I understand signing for sold as is and high miles buyer beware. Drove perfect in beavercreek, and Huber back and forth to Englewood Ohio with no issues nothing. I only had the car TWO DAYS driving in town in Englewood and the check engine light came on! The service department filed paperwork when I brought it in diagnostic was needed new head gasket 1,000. Tried to dismiss they never quoted it. I have copies. We towed it to our mechanic in West Milton. They discovered Someone either service or the previous owner had put sealant cover on the head gasket to cover up signs of wear and tear at that milage. It has been almost two months and I just now got my car back due to working with our mechanic. service would’nt take the car back or offer much on servicing it or any from the amount. I paid 7k I just paid around 9 k for a new engine. That's more than the battery of the car. I could have made payments on a new car! It shouldn't have even been sold to you in your first place to be on the lot with that milage !!!!!!!! They said they wanted to help us but we're willing to do very little and claim it's completely our fault. DO NOT GO!! The receptionists were the only ones helpful and they did provide me with a rental car until they diagnosed the head gasket. Stars to them only! Other than that it was a big go.….yourself not our problem anymore.Review from Jay P

I took my Odyssey for service few months ago . In 2 days I heard noise in my car . I took my car back .I was told my struts were rusted. They took care of it . After a month I started hearing noise in my car and jerking movement. I took it to Germain Honda of Beavercreek and they said rear shocks are bad . So I called Honda of America to ask for reason what is going on and see Goodwill will be paid. They suggested I call the dealership to find out why parts are getting rusted . Dealership didn't want to take care of it or deal with it . I called and no answer I would leave message and did not hear. Finally I got hold of someone . Very rude and was not able to give me any answer . I am not sure if they are taking good parts out and installing rusted parts . My car I bought in 2019 brand new close to 70000 miles . I just want others to be aware. I would not go to that particular Honda dealership ever again .Review from Teresa H

On July 10, 2023 @ 10:00 am I had an appt @ Germain Honda Beavercreek for a Rear Frame Brace, due to receiving a safety recall letter from Honda. The svc consultant that ckd me in & told me it would take 3-5 hours to install. @ 11:30 He called to say my left rear tire had a frozen caliper & the brake pads were at 0. I asked how much this would cost. He said I need 4 brake pads @$80.80 each, 2 brake rotors @$121.50 each, 1 caliper @$311.27 & labor will be around $364.00 total about $1,100.00. I picked my car up & took it to a different svc dept for a 2nd opinon. I was told the caliper wasn't frozen & I didn't need a new caliper nor rotors. The brake pads & my total cost was $177.68. I called the Svc Mgr & told him what the different svc dept said & gave him the total cost of my repair. Also how the svc consultant was rude to me by said he was too busy w/work orders on his desk & I wasn't here for them to explain. The Svc Mgr said he would talk to him & get back w/me on Mon. HE DID NOT. I called him on Tue left a vmail msg to call me. AGAIN NO CALL. I called again got his vmail on Wed & HE STILL HASN'T CALLED. Mon. July 24th I called to speak w/the Gen Mgr I left him a vmail msg to please call me. He called me back I explained the entire situation. He said he would call me on Tues after he looked into it. No call from him. I called again left a vmail msg I wanted an appt to show him the paperwork from my brake pads repair & the receipt. On Wed July, 26, 2023 the Gen Mgr called me. He made excuses for his Svc Mgr & said they only suggest I get the work done. The Svc consultant told me the work was Needed. I became upset. They lied & took advantage of me. The GM never did set an appt w/me.I asked him what was going to be done regarding my situation because "I want to make sure this doesn't happen to anyone else." He said it wasn't legal to say. My safety recall appt was free so I suppose they needed to make money off of me somehow! Not recommended to go here at all.Review from Cookie Newsom

I believe my husband and I were the victims of elder abuse by Germain Honda. Both the collision department and the main repair department. We were hit by a car broadside on 8/23/22. We had the car towed to Germain where we had bought it. It took them more than two months to fix it, and when we picked it up there were problems. The door area they "fixed" front passenger, leaked air, there was dried glue on the door trim and the passenger side side mirror back casing was not attached properly. We took it back, after two weeks they said they fixed it and we went back to pick it up. They did fix the mirror. Nothing else. Two weeks after we picked it up the last time the car began to make an awful grinding noise in the back of the car. We took it to them again. They said that it was a slippage of a brake caliper, coincidentally on the same side of the car that was hit. They told us it would cost $1800 to fix, which most people I consulted found outrageous, but we needed the car fixed, it is our only car. They played games. My husband was told it would take about 3 hours. When he inquired if there was any way to lower the cost they said yes they could use some cheaper calipers but did not have any and that would add about 3 hours to his wait time. They also said " those are not guaranteed." There is no mention of a guarantee on the invoice we received after paying the $1800. I believe the calipers were part of the wreck damage and should have been fixed and paid for by the insurance settlement and I know that man had those cheaper calipers but wanted to charge for the more expensive ones. They also suddently found we needed a brake fluid flush and replacement . I suggest you take your car elsewhere.Review from Sarah B

Scott C****** is extremely aggressive and dishonest. He rushed through my paperwork when I purchased a car last year - most likely because he tacked on over $5k in warranties. The car I bought from Germain was declared a total loss after a driver failed to yield, causing an accident. I called Scott twice before getting an answer on how I can get my refund.. When I provided the paperwork to get the refund, he had an attitude, huffing his breath while signing papers, etc. Told me the timeframe would be 6-8 weeks to get the refund - which was odd because he made no mention of this before. He then told me I could call him for any questions. Which I did, I called and left messages SEVERAL times, all I wanted was an update. He NEVER called me back. Alisha M**** is also extremely aggressive as a sales person. She laughed at me when I told her my budget for a car, which was between $10-$11k, I wanted something I could pay off in a year or less. When it came time to negotiate on a car I was interested in she told me “I’m not gonna get you no thousands off”. First of all, that’s improper English, second, I wasn’t going to ask for thousands off. She also lied and said they don’t negotiate on cars that have been on the lot less than 90 days. Lie, I bought a car last year on the lot less than 90 days and we negotiated. The dealership also ran my credit without my consent. They bullied me. I started the loan application through the bank, as I was going to finance directly through the bank. Alisha took my social and ran it, and then acted like she had no idea they ran my credit when I asked her about it. Just a bunch of liars. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS DEALERSHIP. I recommend *********** ***** ** ********** ** instead!!Review from Daniel G

Dishonest, dodgy and greedy! Put a deposit down on a new Honda Insight. Was told it would be MSRP plus mudguards. Great! Oh by the way I have a trade in, a very much in demand Toyota Prius Prime. My car came in and we scheduled a time for me to come in. I informed them I wouldn't be doing a trade in the car, just financing it straight up. I then received a call from their sales manager that the deal was no longer good and that they would be sticking on a market adjustment price of several thousand dollars. This was all due to the fact that I wouldn't sell them my car even though the deal was never contingent upon that. They thought they could overcharge me, force me into the deal because I was excited about my new car. I've never been treated so poorly trying to buy a car or anything for that matter. Probably breaking Rule 109:4-3-16 | Advertisement and sale of motor vehicles. In the Ohio Administrative Code/109:4/Chapter 109:4-3.Review from Paul C

Do not buy from here, I bought a car from here when it was showing out and the roads where bad. Drove home and later on that night after the roads where cleared I heard a noise from the wheels. Luckily I purchased the extended warranty but took it to them to investigate. They called the next day stating that it was the front right driveshaft and it wouldn't be covered under warranty since it was under 30 days after I bought the car. After reviewing my contract and speaking with several different people they agreed to cover the cost. Next day they called and said it was fixed. I picked the vehicle up and the same exact issue was there. I pulled back into the dealership and had the mechanic ride with me and verified the exact same issue was there. They kept it another day an said they would fix it, I pick it up the next day after they said it was fixed a second time and the exact said noise was the there. Once again I took the technician for a ride then they stated I needed new tires. So I have a car that I drove a total of one hour and I had to buy new tires since they were not covered. Then they following week I have break noise and I had to get the breaks replaced. A vehicle purchased with a supposed safety inspection needed a new half shaft, wheel bearing, tires and breaks. I called and talked to the dealership and they stated that if they fix every issue with a vehicle they wouldn't make any money. Do not buy from this dealership!!!!!
