3 & 1/2 months ago my broke down and it was determined that it needed a new motor. The car is currently under warranty with CarChex. When I went to submit the claim, they refused to process the claim. I am seeking compensation to replace the engine, rental coverage, and punitive damages, as their delay has caused financial emotional damages. Requesting the amount of $7,001 to repair the engine, $10,000 for pain and suffering, and $4,800 for car rental for a grand total of $21,801.00. We have contacted the warranty company at least 20 times via phone and email and they stopped responding. The original warranty was for 5 years OR 125,000 miles. Current odometer reading is 123,000. We have performed regular maintained at licensed facilities. Attached is the following documentation: a-regular maintained records b- copy of the emails that were submitted from *** ***** (the service consultant Bergeys dealership) c- repair order estimate of $7,001 d- the original warranty that was offered by CarChex e- the last oil change and inspection reports. Hi there. I am seeking financial compensation in the form of a cashiers check for $7,110.00, which is what the estimate was from the dealer to repair the car.
