      Thayer Toyota in *************, 0hio. A stellar 5 star plus dealership. Why? Great people doing an excellent job, consistently. A special mention regarding ***** the ****************. During a recent oil/ tire rotation, he identified a nail puncture in a new tire on my 2023 Prius. ****, the service manager informed me of the repair. I am so grateful! Identifying and fixing a wayward tire is a big deal- especially with an upcoming 600 mile backroad trip. ************, the sales consultant, deserves a comment because he was fair, honest and a clear communicator during our transaction to purchase the Prius in March of 2023. ***** is the customer relations at this dealer. She is a professional and explains my questions in the details I require.In the process of working with the dealership on three occasions, I have also met ***** and *******. They are friendly and knowledgeable.Final thoughts: Thayer Toyota is a competent, friendly and fair organization.

      We called in September to make a service appointment for some minor repairs. On the phone, they gave us the date October 10th. There was no text or email follow-up. When we dropped off on October 10th, they said that we had missed our appointment. There was no phone call or attempt made to contact us between when we made the appointment and when we were told we had missed it. Then we were told we couldn't schedule again for a month and a half. Extremely unprofessional for a dealership service center.

      This is an OUTSTANDING dealer. My experience with them could not have gone better. They were honest, knowledgeable, polite and hard working. I can not recommend them more. Buy a car here. You will be happy !!!

      After having been a loyal Thayer customer for years (up until this happened), when my dad died and left me his sports car, of course I took it to Thayer for detailing, an oil change, adjusting a rocker panel, and replacing the window motor on the passenger side. The first time I got it back, the rocker panel was not fixed (later they explained why, and that was fine). It was not properly detailed, windows not clean and the whole back of the car was never even vacuumed. My husband pointed this out to the service manager, who did not care, offer to fix it, etc. They also lost the driver's floormat (it was there when I dropped it off, but not when I picked it up). Service manager said they hang them up on the wall to clean them, then put it back in. Basically, you are SOL. Again, didn't care, very rude and condescending. So I'll be paying to replace that. Also, the driver's door panel around the handle was loose when we picked it up, my husband had to tighten the screw. That's when we noticed the over an inch long crack on the inside of the driver's door by the window. Service manager insisted they never touched that door, of course. Obviously, it appeared that someone perhaps removed that door panel to see how it went in on the passenger side and broke it putting it back together. When we brought the car back the second time, my husband pointed it out to the service manager. Nope, they never touched the door, was the only response we got. I have been in and around that car for 20 years, and there was never a crack there before it went to Thayer. So, I'll be paying to replace that, as well. Also, now the "service engine soon" light is on, so whatever they did during the process of the oil change, I'll be paying to fix that, too. So disgusted, and have never had a "service manager" treat me so poorly, both over the phone, and in person. Up until this all transpired, I would have given them a glowing review.

      I purchase a 2019 Chevy Traverse in March of 2022 at the bowling green used car lot. My chevy is currently 5/25/2022 being serviced at the Perrysburg Yark chevy dealership it is getting a transmission replacement not even 90days later although it was GM certified the transmission was checked off as good condition. I thought my experience went very well until I brought my 4 cousins back to look at purchasing a newer vehicle for themselves and was asked to wait outside until they're credit report came back! when I was purchasing my vehicle it was 4 other possible buyers in the building when my cousins were there it was only one possible buyer in the building, I didn't understand why we was asked to wait outside? (I am blind to racism) My experience with this dealership is regretful AND JUST THAT An EXPERIENCE! My suggestion is checking the ratings on the dealership before you go! Don't settle! just because they have a smiling face and being locally, family owned is not always the best a business survives on profit! that's y it's called a business once u signed, they release responsibility.
