I'd like to preface this by saying I am using Greyhound and Barons Bus company interchangeably. I booked a ticket through Barons but the buses were operated through Greyhound. On Sunday, September 17, I was trying to take the Greyhound/Barons bus from Toledo, OH to Chicago, IL. My ticket was for the 6:35 am bus, and I arrived to the bus station at 5:30 am. I was notified, not by the Barons Bus company, but by a fellow passenger, that the bus had been delayed until 9:30 am. I waited around at the bus station, only for the bus to not show up at 9:30. We called Greyhound and they said the bus would be there at 11:35am. I then switched my ticket to the 8:55 am bus that was scheduled, and that bus just got cancelled out of thin air at 8:50 am. The original 6:35 am bus still didn't show up, and when we called Greyhound again, they simply said that bus was no longer coming. At this point, we had been there for 6 hours waiting. The Greyhound customer service rep told us over the phone that our best bet to get us to our destination would be the next bus, which was scheduled for 3:25 pm. A bunch of us switched our tickets for the third time at Greyhound's recommendation. At 2 pm, I received a text saying my 3:25 bus was delayed and when I called Greyhound, they said it would be there at 4:22 pm. I was tired of waiting around and at this point, no longer trusted this bus company to get me home. I had to get my friend to drive me an hour each way to the Detroit Amtrak station, where I had to pay an additional $40 for that train. Then, when I tried to file for a refund with Greyhound, they said that the 3:25 pm bus ended up showing up to the station at 4 and had already left, but I was never notified that it would be coming earlier. Long story short, I ended up paying $80 to get home when it should have only been $40, and I wasted an entire day waiting for a bus that never showed up and then a second bus that left without me. All I want is my $40 back that Greyhound stole.Business response

The companies in the Intercity Bus Business will sell everyone elses tickets. In this case, Miss ******* purchased her Greyhound tickets on the Barons Bus ticket platform.
Reading the statement, ALL issues of travel were as a result of Greyhound Bus Lines issues.
I have reached out to Greyhound, and a settlement shall be made with Miss *******. A refund will be sent out in the next 10 days
