We had Rainman Roofing come out and they did some work on our existing roof. I was so pleased that they came right out without delay, assessed the problems and were able to complete the work in short order. They were very professional and efficient and I couldn't be more happy with the pricing. I would recommend Rainman Roofing to any of my friends and family. Beyond pleased with Rainman roofing! Their owner Dustin went above and beyond helping me get my insurance claim to cover the damage needed to fix my home, while also addressing a remodel for my bathroom at the same time. The craftsmanship that their foreman Brian put into designing and building my new bathroom is top notch. Aside from the time it took to jump the hoops with my insurance company, they were prompt about getting the job done and staying in contact with me. Totally unreliable in my opinion! Left undone once they received money from insurance company. Came back twice to finish up and both times siding fell back off, and now they will not return calls!!! They laid metal new roof over existing worn out shingles and a new tarp I paid for! He was irritated he had to fix his trying to take unreliable shortcuts on my roof! Not to mention ruining my tarp in the process! Then he told me he lost money on my job and couldn't afford to fix anything else because it would be out of his pocket! Which if it was such, it is because of his shortcuts and mess ups! I am going to see if my insurance can go after him for an unfinished job! To whom this may concern,
Mr. ***** ****** hired us to do a metal roof replacement on his house and garage and replace the siding on the house and garage. The insurance only paid for shingle replacement but we put metal on per customer’s request. Yes, we did do a metal layover “ which is allowed by code in the state of Ohio” because there was only one layer of shingles on the house and the garage and all this was stated on the contract that ***** & Myself signed before proceeding with any work. We did not lay the metal directly to the shingles, we installed R-17 bubble felt over the existing shingles before installing the metal, because if you don’t , expansion & contraction could rub a hole in the back of the panel over time. We have pictures to prove everything before , during and after. Now onto the siding complaint, We have had some pretty bad wind storms since we completed Mr. ****** siding on his house and garage, and he stated that a few pieces of siding came off his house. The siding didn’t come off because of shortcuts or poor workmanship because the top pieces of siding were not only clipped in but we sealed the back side of the siding with sealant and it looked fine when we got done with the job and ***** did a walk through with Dustin and there were no issues. The reason I will not return to ***** ******, is because he still owes my company $1500.00 and he won’t pay his bill, after a few attempts to collect and us reaching out to his insurance company, the bill was never taken care of and he said he’s not paying it, so his warranty was voided and filed and a couple months later he tried to call my company because a couple pieces of siding blew loose. You have to pay your bill in full and hold up your end of the contract if they expected me to fix any issues that may arise in the future and I told him that. When I talked to his insurance company on the phone they told me they released all the money to Mr. ******. Between ***** buying a new ventless hot water tank and having it installed and taking his family on a vacation, that’s why the final bill was never paid in full. Rainman Roofing went above and beyond for this customer, for example, the insurance company only paid to replace the top main, north side gutter and we replaced all his gutters with no additional charge, so it made our job look good and all the gutters match, we also installed purlins and siding over top his block chimney at no additional charge, so it matched the rest of the house, we also replaced the fascia caps on the top main gable ends because they looked bad, and we never charged customer for that either. The solution was simple, if he wanted an active warranty so these issues he is experiencing now, would be fixed, then the customer should have paid his bill in full. I have pictures/documentations of everything if you would like me to send them in to you, because this complaint is absurd and absolutely false and my pictures/documents would tell you everything. There is no company out there that will show up to fix a “ warranty call”, if their bill was never paid in full. Also to clear something else up so everyone knows, I am the type of business owner that would do whatever I needed to do to fix any issue that should be covered under a warranty and even if that meant I loose money/get in my pocket to pay for something, then I will do what I have to do. Except in this case, I REFUSE to go to this man’s house and fix anything because he DOES NOT HAVE A WARRANTY, due to not paying his final invoice in full. I did all the foot work for this man and got his insurance company to pay for this entire job to be done and I even covered the customers $1500 deductible, which made it to where ***** had zero out of pocket expenses and he still rips my company off $1500.00, then has the nerve to make a complaint about my company and say we did poor workmanship. All I can say is WOW !!!!

Unreliable. Set up an appointment on phone. They sent me a text I confirmed appointment. On appointment day No Show. I called office told they were running late. I waited they never showed up. Set another appointment again they never showed up. I called office. They ask to set up 3rd appointment. I said no and they Hung up on me. Don't waste you time with them.
