Prior realtor for Cutler informed me on August 7th 2024 via text my earnest check was ready for release. I replied and asked if myself or partner could pick up said check from Cutler's office in ***** ****. She never replied. I followed with a text stating I reached out to someone else from her office and that person was helping me (the text was sent to her by mistake). She "liked" that text and followed up by stating "I'm no longer to contact her and to contact her manger directly. I should have the contact from when I 1st reached out to him a while back." I did speak with her manager Don on August 12th 2024. He said that the check was coming from Canton and he would get back to me on status update. I reached out to Don again on August 19th 2024 because I hadn't heard anything from Cutler. Don told me the same thing, he'll find out about my check and call me back. I never received a call back! I call the main office in ***** ****; no one answers and the calls go to voice mail. It's been nearly two weeks, and I haven't any answers on where or when I'll be receiving my funds.Business response

I received a series of phone calls from the complainant the morning of August 26th between 10:35-11:45 am requesting to pick up her Earnest Money Check. I had my assistant make several phone calls and the complainant picked up her Earnest Money check by 2pm that same day. I had no prior contact with the complainant and rectified the situation as quickly as possible in response to her complaint.Customer response

Better Business Bureau:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********. In their response , the timing is way off. as well as the check was only printed a day before I picked it up. But it was told to me in writing that it was ready two weeks prior, which turned out to be a lie. They returned the money finally; yes. But only after I had to call all offices from ********** to Canton over nearly three weeks.
I will wait until for the business to perform this action and, if it does, will consider this complaint resolved.Regards,
