I am a single parent. I had a hardship in July and let them know. I got harrassed by the company. They repossessed my vehicle. She got personal with me. I called her boss and she told me that I could pay the remaining balance and I could keep my vehicle. I ended up paying more than they asked. When they repossessed my vehicle, the payment had already been made.Review from Andrea J

First Financial Bank 11:01 AM I was at the bank on Main Street in Middletown, Ohio. One of the tellers walked from behind the counter to pet a HUGE dog. She then went back to her post and proceeded to wait on me without sanitizing her hands. Disgusting! She felt the need to sanitize her hands after my transaction. Money is filthy enough. She didn't have enough respect for me to sanitize her hands before the transaction. I am outraged. Why was she allowed to leave her post to pet someone's dog? I was standing in line waiting to be helped while she was having fun petting a random dog.Review from Matthew D

This bank has left me stranded on the other side of the country while I have thousands of dollars in their bank. They have locked my card and will not unlock my card so now I am stranded homeless and almost out of gas in the state of Colorado. Mind you I’m from Cincinnati thanks a lot First Financial however I’m able to make it back because all my money is in your bank. I will never bank with them again and I encourage everybody who reads this not to bank with them this is the worst experience I’ve ever had.Review from Vickie R

Too many conflicting stories. Great to be able to get the cash you need in a hurry, but you are not always given the same instructions as far as paying back the loan. Be careful. I was told that if I had the account on auto pay, I would not be charged extra by a representative when I called. That was WRONG! You are charged 10% more. Mail a check. Do not use auto pay. Not everyone e is honest with you. Or maybe they just aren't trained? At any rate be careful because in the end you pay 200 dollars per 1000 if you aren't careful.Review from Nancy G

Sexton H , a supervisor at their corporate office, offered no resolution to pay off a loan today, to avoid more interest because I didn't have the phone they wanted to send a verification code to, next to me. Rude, arrogant, unhelpful, and costing me money...the way banks like to do business. Have been a customer for a long time, so its sad when these companies continue to treat people like **** They get you coming and going...again I wanted to PAY OFF my loan....Review from randal r

I went to the Worthington branch (High St. and South St.) to deal with a safe deposit box. The branch is closing and wanted everyone to close their boxes. I was told that I owed a fee of $209.68 on the box. I offered to pay with a credit card but when the bank ran the card, the were doing it as a cash advance. When I noticed that it was a cash advance, I told them to cancel the transaction and I paid in cash. When I received my credit card bill it had the cash advance on the statement along with $12.48 in fees associated with the cash advance. Went to the branch and talked to the Financial Center Manager and was told that the were sorry that the mistake was made but that First Financial Bank would not refund me the money that they collected twice nor pay the cost of the cash advance fees. The bank admitted it was their mistake but they would do nothing to resolve the issue or accept responsibity for the cost of their mistake. (If I do not dispute this with my credit card bank, First Financial Bank will be unjustly enrich by $209.68)
