On Monday 4/1 I went in for my oil change. I have been to this location multiple times each year for the past three years. Because my vehicle is a 2020 I bring in my own oil, air and cabin filters and I get the credit. Manager, Terrance said he would not give me credit of $13.87 for my oil filter "because they don't do that" I expressed multiple times they have always done that. They said they'd give me 20% off and honor my $15.00 off $40 coupon and that would be enough. They also sold me a cabin filter for $54.99 that turned out not to be the right one for my card. After paying and reviewing the breakdown, it was done totally wrong and I should have been billed $58.69. I called and filed a dispute with customer care and they patched Terrance in who argued with me, on a recorded line, that he wouldn't discount and he did nothing wrong. I called and spoke to Cody (Manager) and he agreed to give me full credit. I told Cody I would return the cabin filter and credit that, along with my credit for the oil filter and still make a payment, but he agreed to full credit. I have requested a call back from the Area Manager - Alex - and this person never called me back for three days. I was on the line with customer care on Thursday 4/4 at 8:07am and they couldn't reach the person. That person never returned the call all day. I had to file a dispute with my credit card company as well. I have the cabin filter to return; however, Cody said not to worry. I need reassurance I'm getting the credit and for the first time I was treated so poorly at this location by Terrance.Initial Complaint

Rear Differential fluid was told it needed to be done while oil change was done. The vehicle had less than 20,000 miles on it and it was not done correctly. They let my driver drive off and a couple days later he returned to let Valvoline know the vehicle was having problems and they refunded the money paid for oil change but now the vehicle is NON DRIVABLE. My local auto shop that is used on a regular basis will not let me drive the vehicle because of the danger. I have placed 3 phone calls over the last 6 days and the response has been the same all 3 times. We cannot get ahold of a manager and will email them. Meanwhile, my business is without a vehicle because of this egregious business practice by valvaline. Buyer Beware: Valvaline is not a business you should deal with. Their customer service when they are at fault is horrible. I will be involving my corporate attorney to rectify this and will never use them again. The auto shop has informed me that the parts and labor is going to cost thousands of dollars and could take weeks to fix. Valvaline has shown zero care and zero attempt to help with the problem that they caused.
