They are TERRIBLE. I took out a lease with them for a ps5 in early December 2021. Due to health issues and therefore being in and out of work as a result, I've had financial difficulties and haven't been able to keep up with payments. I got a letter last week stating my lease was no longer active and cancelled. Okay fine. But then on 12/30/22 they took not one, not 2, but THREE payments from an account of mine in which I just started receiving social security for a debit card that is NOT even listed on my profile!!!! It was removed!!!! I am sick and just barely able to make ends meet while struggling to raise my daughter. My SSI is my only means of income to keep us both afloat. I emailed them well over 15 times, and finally got a response 12/31 to contact their chat rep or call their *** * *** * **** to have a live rep "happily" assist me. I spoke on chat with a rep yesterday and after 20 minutes, only got nowhere, because they gave me the same ** number. Wanna know what happens when you call it? It's a FAX MACHINE. You get NOBODY. Please STAY AWAY and don't make the same mistake I did!Review from MA A

Started a lease with them last year for a tv tv came on time started payments fine no problem. then I was effected by covid had to miss time from work etc always kept a open transparent dialong with them.price of the tv was 2196.99 I past there early pay off point so I got a pay off plan which you set up to be done in 3 payments every2 weeks or so. Rep told me payoff would be a extra 700.00 after paying the 2196.99. The payment was going to be due in 2 weeks so I said I would pay the 700.0 and be done which was still about 1k over the retail/store price for this unit. right before payment came due all of the sudden my price changed to just about 1200.00 and noone could/would give me a solid answer as how this could happen frustrated I just started the payoff plan for the addtl 1200.00. So they take the first payment now I have paid a total of 2502.82 on tv. Right after this is when I had a covid complication which they were aware of after getting betting I emailed tempoe on adding them as a payee with a new bank I started working with so they could get paid directly from my bank for payoff, tempoe never responded to the email so I waited being I was just getting back to work and life going again tempoe was not my top priority so I did not slam them with emails after, so instead of a response I get a letter from a collection agency asking for 1176.61 and a few days later with no time to respond to this collection agency they post it on my credit report as a collection. this also means that tempoe took the extra payment I believe it was 370.02 and put the collection about back at what it would have been before the payment essential takin a extra payment for profit. this is deceptive because no there charge off what would be pure profit as a insurance loss sell to a collection for pennies and now the collection agency wants to collect and make possibly a 1000% profit on what they paid for the acct absurd no happening.Review from Karen L

I entered into a contract with this company, a loan for the purchase, as a lease agreement. TEMPOE continued to withdraw payments from my account after I received an email saying my account had a balance of zero...I called the company and asked for the Corporation number to discuss my account, and was put on hold for five minutes, once the person I was taking with came back on the line be advised me he did not have the number and said someone would call me within 48 hrs. I explained that I was going to file a complaint about the fraudulent behavior and they are NOT to pull anymore amount out of my bank account.At this time they still have a scheduled payment withdrawal for this month. This will be the 3rd withdrawal after I received the zero balance due email. I have already paid more than my amount owed.*****Review from Scott P

This company is 100% a scam. I purchased tires and was completely mislead from the start. I was told this was a payment plan to pay them off, not some lease. I called for a payoff amount a few months later and that's when I finally found out what they were trying to pull. They told me I would have to pay about half of the price of my tires on top of the full payment amount to buy them or I could return them. I was livid because the first agent I spoke with made no mention of this whatsoever. I finally was able to speak with a manager who arranged my payments so that I can pay these off on the terms I agreed to, however, ita now the next week and they're trying to pull double payments and have stolen an additional $40 from me so far. These people prey on low income families who need a little assistance with big purchases and take every ***** they can get from them. I will now spend my Saturday waiting in an ungodly long hold que to reverse these fraudulent charges. NEVER USE TEMPOE!Review from Billy E

I have called multiple times to get a refund because I never received my freezer I ordered on October 24th 2021 its now February 16th, I gave them all the info they asked for and they still won't refund my money, it's a different excuse every time I call this company is a joke Don't do business with them, this is **. Back in June. July 2021, I needed A refrigerator desperately I looked into, leaseing, turned I was paying70.00 a week , I lost my job & could no longer afford it, I called Tempoe, explained my hardship & they told me to get information regarding my loss of income from my employer, I called them in August asked them to please pick refrigerator Tempoe side I Had to keep the refrigeratorfor 5 months to fullfill my 5 month contract, I explained to them that I was losing my home to please pick up, & we could settle what I owed them, but to please remove it, Called numerous times, my employer sent them the hardship information, tyhat they requested, & heard nothing from them again , then in January I get a text message telling e that there going to deliver a refrigerator, I told the delivery person , I explained the situation & told him no I don't need a delivery, I need you to pickup this refrigerator, not deliveranother one, He called them & told someone what the situation was, he said there going to schedule a pickup, I received text message of them picking up refrigerator no one ever showed up I called Tempoe, Tempoe said I need to call ***** for pickup, did A 3***********************************************terms way with Tempoe, ***** & my self, I explained the hardship to ***** , this person checked the Information & said sorry but you had 30 days to return, so we can't help you, I I said I was leasing this refrigerator for 5 months with the option to buy,continue leasing Or return,, I want to return this refrigerator said sorry there's nothing I can do do, I asked to please escalate to manager, since January I still have not heard from manager,Now repeatedly I.m getting messages that there going to deliver a another refrigerator to me, $ different times, now they have sent this to collections , but yesterday I get message that deliver is complete, please help!!! thank youReview from Paul K.

First of all. this company is an extortion racket. The salesman mislead me, deceived me and told me I only had to make five payments to pay off a 2100 fridge. They are also asking me for 1200 dollars to close the deal on my account. I told them where they can go, and my bank is investigating this as fraud. If an item is 2100 dollars, how do they expect to get 3300 dollars out of me, I am not taking a mortgage out on my fridge. If you want the merchandise back, give me my money back. I am not giving the fridge back, and be out 2000 dollars. It don't work that way for me, Has anybody taken them to court over their illegitimate business practices ? I give this business 1star.
