      Don and the plumbing team was great! They worked very fast, communication was great. There was a plumbing issue with my neighbor and they got finished before my neighbor’s plumbing team. I greatly appreciate their time. I was at work during all of this, and once I got home, I was more than grateful to know I didn’t even have to wait 12 hours after putting my request in! Thanks again!

      I wouldn’t even give this company 1 star if I could. I don’t even know where to begin. Throughout my almost 5 years of renting this house it has been pure ***** First of all, when we first moved in I immediately noticed many issues with the house and reported them to **** ****** Property Management who were the owners at the time. It was like pulling teeth trying to get them to fix things and if they did it wasn’t done properly. When Equity Team took over, I told them about all of the problems we had been having with the last company and how they didn’t fix the issues we had. Once again, equity team didn’t seem to care and our problems went unresolved. Just recently they gave us only 30 days to vacate the property over a dog we had already paid a pet deposit for through Only ****** Property Management. I sent them proof and I even offered to pay another pet deposit in desperation to not have to find another place to live and they still insisted that we vacate the premises. Soon after we loved out, my husband and I were hit with an email from them saying we owe $10,000.00 in damages when most of it were things that I made them aware of when we moved in and they never took care of it. They even tried to say we owe them almost $600.00 for dead grass from where our pool was. Nowhere in our lease does it say we are responsible for dead grass. Needless to say, we are taking this matter to court and you should beware before renting from these people

      review left on ****** in reply to her ****** review. ******, we're sorry you're unhappy about your tenancy. First, let's clarify that we did not place you into the property. We inherited you from the previous management company. Our job is to enforce the lease and you clearly violated it in many, many ways. Also, we did not ask you to leave or evict you, the Owner wanted the property back. We are simply a 3rd party manager and if the owner wants their property back, we process the actions to make that happen. Your balance is what it is. If you have evidence supporting the property was in poor condition when you moved in, you're welcome to provide it to us. We put our estimate of damages together based on the data we have, and based on what we believe the courts would agree with. $10k is not a small amount, so clearly we have a lot of evidence that we feel support these damages being your responsibility. We're happy to discuss this with you, review your evidence, and see if we can come to a compromise to avoid going to court over it. This review is simply out of spite and seems to be more focused on her displeasure with the previous manager and the owner. EquityTeam just did our job based on our owners wishes.

      I have reached out to this company in several ways inquiring about one of their rental properties and trying to schedule a viewing and never received a response. Their listing is on ****** and I have followed all procedures and links on that site. I have called the ******** and left several messages as well and still no response. I even applied via my daughter's name to try a different route and she was finally able to request a showing time and even had to upload her ID/DL and still got nothing back after all that. Either their business is totally inept or their systems do not work properly. Either way, I would never have this company manage any property for me. It will do no good to call your number as no one ever answers the phone and messages go unanswered. Check out their yelp reviews too. Also, just read their responses to all the other 1 star google reviews on this site and it will speak volumes about their professionalism. BBB should check them out thoroughly as it appears it is their practice to scam applicants for application fees. I am concerned about them using the ID/DL information they collect to scam people even further.

      We had replied to this previously so I'm not sure why this still shows as being "unreplied to". I'm sorry **** does not like the way we do business when it comes to handling tenant inquires. We lease dozens of places per month and receive hundreds of showings and applications per month, so other people seem to be able to figure out our showing system. Considering leasing properties is a core function of our business, we should have a pretty good system in place to accomplish this critical task. **** is correct that we do not answer the phone often b/c of the tremendously high call volume we receive with repetitive questions from potential tenant prospects. That's why we have prompts to self-help information, as well as a lot of information on our website to help prospects answer their own questions, as well as systems set up to let them leave a VM or send an email to us at **********************. We're constantly working on improving this b/c of how important it is. Please consider, this approach is VERY common with most businesses nowadays. We understand some customers may not like it and they really want to speak to someone. Unfortunately, we simply don't have the resources to answer every phone call we get. This review should be removed b/c **** obviously didn't listen to or follow the prompts. Nor was she ever a customer of ours or ever do business with us. We shouldn't be defamed for that.

      I hope this review does John W**** justice, because I really want to find the words to express how impressed I am with him, and how grateful I am to have John in my corner. Above all what makes John so exceptional is that he holds himself to a very high standard, everyday. In big tech I get to work with some of the best in the world and John also exemplifies that high performance culture. He is internally motivated and obsessive in the best way; that intensity drives John to work to a very high standard, consistently. I absolutely love working with business leaders like John, they are hard to find. I knew right away I wanted to work with John. A few months ago I had to fire my previous property manager and I began chatting with John and a few competitors. I thought John was far and away the best choice, but I went with a competitor as I wasn't receiving emails from John and figured the trail had gone cold; it would make sense that someone of his skill level probably had much bigger fish to fry than me. John called my cell to check in and I realized he'd been sending emails regularly and I wasn't getting them, probably due an issue with my email as this does happen fairly regularly. John was so tenacious and seemed to take it so personally that things hadn't worked out, it was clear he is very invested in business outcomes and I love that. John cares so deeply about what he does, and I would be insane not to take the opportunity to work with him so I cancelled my contract with the competitor and cannot imagine working with anyone else. It's not an exaggeration to say that my experience working with John has redefined my understanding of the level of care, depth of experience and consistency of engagement that a property manager can deliver. Space is limited, so I must cut this short! John is great and represents the company so well, HUGE FAN OF EQUITY TEAM!!!

      This has been a difficult transition as a new investor, along with being out of state. I have had the pleasure to work with some AWESOME people at EquityTeam starting with John that has held my hand throughout this process in the beginning stages of me finding a home and giving me great feedback. Once I signed up for them to represent me as my property management team the awesomeness continued with Charity who is my property manager and Jeff who has assisted as we go through the process of getting the home ready to rent and to get top dollar for my property. I can't say enough about their guidance, their professionalism and consistent communications. I am confident in them managing my property and them having my best interest.

      Horrible!! I paid $50 for application fee , filled out all paperwork needed and got email saying they would submit for approval once everything comes back and the next day they emailed the property was rented! Well guess theyre making money off application fees!! Very disappointed , seems like they could have been upfront since they knew someone was in process of renting the property!!!

      Dear BBB/Complaintant,I'm sorry you are upset you were not selected for the rental property you applied for. However, we take exception to you insinuating we are not transparent, honest, or that we're making money on application fees. We are a highly respected property management company and go above and beyond industry norms to be transparent, honest, and fair to all applicants.The facts of this situation is you applied on Sunday, 9/11. We received many applications over the weekend and as our application terms and conditions (which you agreed to) state, we process applications in the order they came in, but when multiple applications come in around the same time, we have discretion on which apps we approve. On this property, there were 3 apps that were strongly considered. The person we chose, who applied the same day before you did; your application; and a third who applied after the first two. The person we chose had a better credit score, income, and ultimately overall stronger application than the other applications.Our terms and conditions make it clear that paying an application fee does not guarantee we will accept your application. Our fees are lower than industry averages and are designed to help us offset costs we incur to run background screenings.As a courtesy, we offered to move your application to another property so you didn't have to pay them again if we had another unit you liked. We cannot refund them, or else we will be setting a precedence of having to refund all application fees to people who are not chosen, which could be considered a violation of Fair Housing since we wouldn't be treating all applicants the same.While we sympathize that this tenant applicant is upset she was not chosen, EquityTeam did NOTHING wrong and does not warrant a poor review for simply following its clearly defined and transparent application terms and conditions. We hope the BBB closes this dispute without a record of the incident to EquityTeam.
