AAA memeber and I've used this Ridge Ave location along with another and something ALWAYS GOES WRONG when getting a simple oil change with this company! When I say wrong I mean something has literally broken and had to be replaced immediately each time! Here recently I attempted to get tires from this company and they apparently had incorrect pricing on their website! I was able to schedule an appointment and PAY IN FULL just to call and confirm and be told something completely different because the pricing was incorrect. My card still hasn't been refunded and every time someone calls or answers the phone when I call nothing Is ever solved or worth the time! The Manager Michael called me once left a vague message and I haven’t been able to reach him since! All I want is my money back considering I never received service or product and not one person has been able to tell me how long that will take! I will continue with AAA roadside assistance but NEVER will I bother with the auto shops againReview from Sherrie M

They are unqualified to work on cars scam on the mileage to get you to come back before time they do not put the required oil in you car and the don't do what the oil change say they do such as tire rotation check fluids and etc. I will not be renewing my AAA ins if they don't investigate what Bob Sumerel is not doing I don't play about my money and will file a law suit if need beReview from Lianne D

My car was making a lot of noises so I took it to Beckett Ridge Bob Sumerel, AAA. They replaced brakes, struts, wheel bearings, etc & I paid $3,400. Long story short it is still making noises. I have called them at least 5 times and taken my car in 2-3 more times and it sounds worse than ever. They keep saying the “sounds will go away” & that “it’s not a problem to keep driving it this way.” I asked if they just didn’t know what was wrong and they said they do. Saying “just bring your car back in” doesn’t help at all when I just want it fixed. They literally told me “your car is just like new now.” This is totally not true. I feel taken advantage of and I can’t believe AAA supports this place.Review from Kaitlyn T

The incorrect oil and incorrect amount of oil was put into my car during a standard maintenance oil change at the US-42 location in ********. A courtesy inspection was also performed on my car without my consent. As I was driving home, multiple lights on the dash came on in my car. Checked oil myself when I got home and no oil was present on dipstick. Car got towed to a manufacturer dealership to get repairs. Oil change from Bobs and repairs from dealership totaled hundreds of dollars. *** Sumerel refused to offer any assistance to fix the issue they clearly caused after work was done on my car at this location because the vehicle was not inspected by them after this situation happened. After multiple phone calls and promises from ******, the assistant manager, that I would receive a phone call from her manager about looking into a refund for the oil change, the only way we would get an answer was going in person. The manager, ***, was extremely rude and condescending. His demeanor was extremely unprofessional and is not the manager you would want representing any business. Talked to us like children and would not come to an understanding on any of our issues about the service provided. We ultimately only wanted help with the cost of the oil change provided by them since one essentially wasnt even done and the manager refused to give us any assistance. This is extremely disappointing since the location I went to is a AAA. Neither I nor anyone I know will be using Bobs ever again.Review from David W

I had my ***** ****** towed to Dent Bob Sumerel service center for a power steering issue, fluid on the ground in driveway. Was told I need $3400 before taxes worth of work. Metal shavings in fluid, both tie rods shot, pump exploded, burst lines. My car is barely worth that. I had it towed to ****** **** *** and they told me a hose clamp had broken off and just needed reattached. They also checked the fluid and found no metal shaving nor burst lines or exploded pump. They did find that my left front ball joint needed to be replaced, which if Bob Sumerel had truly looked at my vehicle they should have noticed that but didn’t. In total ****** **** did the work for $180.00 When I spoke to Dallas at Bob Sumerel about this he dismissed me as not knowing industry standards and that as professionals they had to ensure future reliability. No Sir you are a crook, you just didn’t break down my door to rob me. I feel sorry for anyone who gets robbed by you guys. BTW I have the receipts!Review from Amanda P

Horrible, horrible experience. My truck was towed to Loveland location after the bolts holding the struts busted and the truck wheel could not be turned without causing more damage. I specifically told the repair shop NOT TO TURN THE WHEEL or the fender would bend. They assured me the truck could be lifted in the parking lot to prevent having to turn the steering wheel to get it in the garage. Sure enough when I went to pick up my truck the fender was bent and broken, paint was chipped and they refused to repair the damages they caused. They lied and said they didn't turn the wheel even though the truck was in fact pulled into the garage and there'd be no way to do that without turning it. Once they admitted to turning the wheel they insisted they did not bend the fender even though I had pictures of the truck from earlier on the tow truck UNBENT! They were rude and took zero responsibility when there was proof it was damaged by them. They said they'd discuss it and call me back. For 3 days in a row I've called and they've said they'd call back and have not. So now my truck is damaged and I will have to pay for repair and paint. Absolutely ridiculous!Review from Steve H

I have been using AAA in Beavercreek for oil changes and tire rotation (rotation is free for members) … After the last visit I noticed my car was still reporting an error on the Tire Pressure Unit on the right front (expected it to now be on the right rear) … When I returned and asked for an explanation they admitted they didn’t do the rotation (“it didn’t need it”) … Kinda makes you wonder if they really changed the oil … Was it new oil? … Was it synthetic as requested? … “Honesty is the best policy” to guarantee returning customers ….Review from MURIEL S

I took my Kia into the location at Ridge Rd in the beginning of June 23. It took about 2 weeks to get an initial call about the problem. The technician described something totally different from my initial concern which is losing oil?... I was told the a coil plug had to be changed and the Kia dealership could no longer order the part due to no more parts through the manufacture. I had to constantly, go up to the shop to ask about updates. I was told to call around to look for the part as well. I called the national Kia customer service for assistance. The Kia customer service rep put me on hold in the beginning of August to call the *** auto shop. The shop admitted that they spoke with her but couldn't seem to remember her advising them to call and order the part. I still have the email of confirmation from the Kia representative stating that she advised *** to call and order the part. I stopped by the shop and finally the manager Dave was at the front desk. I explained the history of extremely poor customer service which included no phone calls from him. Dave was very defensive, rude, and argumentative. He also tried to make me pay over $360 for repairs. I told him that he would have to call my warranty company to provide documentation of the repairs and for payment. He changed and said for me to give him some time to take off the parts that they changed. He would wipe away all the charges and I would be contacted to pick up my car. I questioned him about the safety of what he was saying.... How would it be safe if you felt like the part had to be changed and now you're just going to take the car apart again to remove the new part that was supposedly holding the coil plug.... I still never received an answer about the initial reason for taking the Kia which is losing oil.... Hopefully, the car is operating when I pick it up....Review from Patty F.

I went to have a screw removed from a tire and was given an estimate for 4 tires and a brake job. I received an email later saying there was 5 more things wrong with my car I said I only wanted one tire and was told they had already put the four on and was finishing up. I looked into the work room and saw 4 tires on my car and assumed they were new, looked out again saw 0 tires, looked out again and saw tires going on. I feel I was lied to regarding that the four new tires were already on my car when I said I only wanted one. I ended up spending $1200 on tires I said I did not want. After reading various reviews I found several Seniors had been taken advantage of. I am 78 . Yes I am old but not stupid. I feel I was put in this situation because I am a woman and elderly. I would like this report to e a warning others so they are not taken advantage of.
