      Payments due on 10th of every month. Made Sept 10th payment in full but canceled policy Sept 18th. I am owed a pro rated amount for month of Sept and pro rated amount on the original down payment as I did not utilize the policy in full. After multiple phone calls and attempts to retrieve the money owed to me I have still not received my refund. In fact the lady I spoke to over the phone several times kept giving me the excuse her boss was out of town after inquiring over a couple months of phone calls. They told me the account did note a refund was due to me. No one has reached out as of today to refund my money owed to me. Customer service has been a nightmare with this company, it has now gone on 11 months.

      I was obtaining an insurance policy for my transportation business. The agent assigned to my service did not understand that I was looking for an insurance policy that covers the type of load I registered in the DOT, which is Motor carrier and General freight. The agent quotes me a policy for dry goods only. I told him that was not the type of load I needed. He convinced me to leave it like that because that should not be a problem. I will have a cheaper policy than others. He requested my credit card information to take the downpayment before signing the contract. The charge was different from the quote, and he sent me the contract by email. Then he suggested I change the type of load in the DOT. I tried to do so but realized it would take longer than expected. The following day I called this person to cancel the policy and not submit the information. He was disrespectful to me after I told him about the cancellation because it was not working for my business. I requested a refund of my downpayment of $2379.94 since then, and at first, one of the managers, Mr. C****, told me I would get my full refund after three business days. Then I called several times they put me on hold many times. I called the agent he told me, "Make yourself a favor and stop calling; this is going to take a long time" Then, after three weeks, they assigned me a different person for my account Ms. Sarah, and she told me they were going to charge me for two days and a fee for a device that I never requested and it never arrived to my address. So, they will refund me a part of the money, like $800, from the total amount of my downpayment, and that will take several days. I told her that this was not fair to pay for something I never used. I need help, please. I am launching my company using my savings, and I need the money to pay for the expenses on it. It is tough to start a business, and to have this type of issue, I feel scammed.

      This is supposed to be an insurance company. I purchased insurance on August 29th via their agent. I explained my company to him in detail they said they could get me the insurance I requested. He quoted me a number and said I would need to pay them first before I could receive the documents and he can write up the policy. I made the payment and all went downhill. The document he sent over had a different price and he tried to get me to sign but I did not. Finally, get the document corrected and I sign then I had to bug them for my certificate. After realizing they were not showing my Cargo insurance I began to request this over and over and I expressed this is what I paid for and that I am not receiving this which I need to run my business in compliance. I reached out several times with the complete run around I expressed I wanted to cancel they said they would fix it but they just stalled until my cancellation period was over and then did not answer. I want a full refund they still have yet to file this insurance nor issue a refund

      Hello. 

      The client connected with our agent via the phone requesting insurance for her Trucking Business. We understand the frustration here, unfortunately during the carriers underwriting review process an undisclosed driving violations can impact premium pricing, as occurred in this instance. While working with the client, after explaining the reasoning behind the increase we worked with them to determine what the best option for them would be. Initially the client decided against cancelling, however changed their mind and wanted to proceed with cancelling the policy. Once the flat cancellation was requested  we requested the carrier process the cancellation, as requested.The policy was cancelled for the client and the down payment amount refunded. These situations are rare, and we always do our best to help resolve these situations as quickly as possible for our clients.
