      April 11,2023; I put $4000 down payment for **** **** ***** ******** plus taxes. On April 27 the truck was taken to shop for running hot, the thermostat was replaced. Two weeks later the truck was doing the exact same issue so I took it back to shop but couldn’t get car check out for another 2 weeks because of the shop schedule. I was notified 2 days ago from the shop that the heads were blown. I notified Ben at Ben’s Automotive about the issue, he was very nasty and rude! He stated that the car is As is and I have to still pay the remainder balance. I asked can I get into a different car since this issue has been goin on since I had the truck! Ben stated that it’s not his issue and he want his money then hung up on me and blocked my number! I called from another number and recorded the conversation Ben’s Automotive is a scam and they are robbing people for their hard on money.

      I asked for the company to work with me and allow me to defer two payments to fix a vehicle they have sold me with multiple issues and I can prove that. They have been extremely rude and unprofessional while conducting business. I have been now charged 3 late fees and they refuse to send me any proof of the transactions now every time I ask they ignore me. No one allows me to see what I’m paying into. I’m getting fed up with this business they need to be put out of business they are screwing people over.

      The business in complaint is the fact that they are selling vehicles completely overpriced with issues costing more then what the vehicle is even worth. They are not willing to help or anything. They have been very rude and disrespectful. They won’t speak with me and constantly hanging up. They have tons of vehicles falling apart being sold for 11k over what they are even worth.

      I bought a car from bens auto on February 22 2023, i had to bring my car back a couple days later because it was overheating really bad .. ben is really rude he argued then hung up on my after just because i tell him that something is wrong with my car .. now on april 23 my car went out my engine is down .. and i have a kid to get back and forth to school iam a single parent and they got me out of $4700 plus a 2 months in car payments…

      On June 28th 2022 down payment of 1850 on car at bens auto lot Colerain Ave Cincinnati ohio 29th called faith it started having trouble she said not there problem I'm responsible for it now and have to make payments at 842 pm June 29th code reader printed out ***** ***** ***** ***** ***** ***** CONTROLLER AREA NETWORK LINE MALFUNCTION electric shortage to motor. On June 30th I had to have it towed from hopple street bp to apartment on blvd Maybe 6 blocks because it wouldn't go into gear and now sits in parking lot nit able to drive. Faith keeps saying she has to talk to Ben which is out of town OVER SEAS.

      5/4 day I purchased vehicle I paid $2,100.00. I immediately left the lot heading to the tire shop, because the tires were in dangerous condition. I paid $150 for 3 used tires. The next day 5/5 I heard the grinding of the front brakes and anytime I hit a bump while driving the car would shift, I was told by the owner if I buy the brakes ($50) he will fix them for free. Once Ben got my vehicle he then called and told me that I needed rotors & to pay him $88 for the rotors in order for him to fix. I told him that the brakes & rotors were one issue, but he would need to also fix the issue that caused the sudden front end sway movement that before I came to pick it up. 5/14 he called & told me that my car was ready, & that he paid $500 to fix the issue so I was responsible for that payment as well but I have not paid. He never called to tell me he was able to fix, the last notice I received from him was that he wanted me to pay him for the rotors as well. When I picked my vehicle up I did notice that the brakes were fixed and the car didn’t ride as rough, but the sway movement never left. To this day I am unsure of what parts he purchased that cost him $500 that he wants reimbursement for because the overall issue is still not fixed. I took my car to be inspected by *****, who then told me the reason my car swayed was due to needing a racking pinion replacement with a quote of $1,700 & to not drive it because I could lose my front tires if the part broke completely off. Back brakes are also completely gone & rusted & car is now making a loud knocking noise when you turn the steering wheel. I shared this information with Ben who told me he would not fix it and if I refused to pay my car payment he will send a tow truck to pick it up. He told me if I pay my car note, he’ll give me a website to purchase the part. I paid $285 6/11 and never received the website. The car has now not been driven or moved for 3 weeks. I’d like a refund or for the car to be fixed completely

      So I Owed a car payment of 480 on 5/23/2022 . I have the photos Todays date is 6/3/22. Bens Came and repossessed me & My boyfriends car This morning as of 6/3/22. I have messages & Call logs to show that my boyfriend Tried to get in contact with the owner & not the Finance handler about Him Having 3/4 of the car payment the upcoming Saturday which would be tomorrow in this case .. He called & Left A text message To the Owner after receiving a call from the finance about the past due balance after she told him to do so . He called With no Answer and left a Text message . Proof is in the pudding .. Fast forward to this morning Come outside cars gone So we call Bens. He called about 15-20 minutes before they were open but also have the owners number … 1st 2 calls or 1 to both numbers ring threw , After he calls when the buisness is open Line is busy . Both lines. I stay home he heads to their establishment. He gets there to PAY the Whole Balance & Show him why we’re late Again Because of a issue with him & His cashapp Cashout option . I have the proof there also . He said the owner didn’t wanna hear nor see none of what he was showing. Even about him not responding but reading his message which ******* tell you a person does. Seems like he was having a bad day but Hey ain’t we all at this point In time my guy..Was told Per his policy which I have photos we had to pay A tow fee , Our balance & Full coverage insurance which would come out to 1400$ Cash for are vehicle back. I Feel that’s disrespectful In so many ways on how he went about the situation with no response after I told financial I would be In touch & He still didn’t respond to my boyfriends messages . My boyfriend Also has an Kind of disturbing video of them going back & Forth because he said he was going to pay with a card on file But they wouldn’t accept it Which kind of Brought up this situation also .       Add on to case #********. My boyfriend also had an agreement with them That he was paying on a monthly basis So even if we were behind on are payment (Becasue he gets paid bi-weekly) He had 2-3 days to pay the 480 from 5-23-2022 to 14 Calendar days to pay it or Pay the 480 & The due balance by 6-23. my boyfriend has paid big amounts every time and it shows on paper also. Also I may have put the wrong address on that case , This case has the correct adddress for that case . Thanks .

      I almost died. I kept Ben and his store informed. I was in the hospital a week. I missed work for 3 weeks. I did not miss 90 days worth of payments yet he repossessed my car. He forwarded my calls to voicemail. He would not work with me. He decided he just "didn't want" to finance vehicle anymore and demanded the full price for the vehicle. I was only $800 behind, he demanded $1700 then demanded the full $12,000 because he is "tired of people's excuses" and unwilling to work with me. He told me not to argue with him then hung up on me. Even credit companies offer payment plans to get caught up. I have submitted my hospital documents that he refused to care about. I am a single mother and I need my vehicle in order to provide for my family. I was blessed enough to get a working car from him 3 times (this is my 3rd) and he refuses to work with me, now demanding the full price in cash or I lose my car. He won't answer my calls even if I was able to find $12,000. This is unlawful. Businesses don't ignore people.
