I had a sunroom built which was supposed to be a 4 season room. While the installation process was in the time frame promised, the product is inferior: Electrical exterior not interior to the room; patio doors where windows should be; improper sealing of seams causing excessive amount of condensation to the walls, windows and floors. Very poor customer service; never returning calls or told "you must call the salesman first." The salesman actually returned calls but nothing was ever investigated or fixed. Does anyone know of a class action suit against this company? They do have a problem and absolutely no one seems to care. Very disappointed. had all my windows replaced by Champion in 2010. I have had a few problems in the past which have been taken care of. In 2023, I had a piece of vinyl that my siding kitchen door slides on warp. I called Champion (now centralized, so I can’t call anyone locally), paid the fee to have them come out and look at it. The repair guy took pictures and sent them in so that the part could be ordered. Champion called and set up an appointment for the install. It was the wrong part that had been ordered. So the repair guy (I have his name if you want it) put a screw through the frame into the vinyl to hold it in place. After more pictures, the part was ordered again. Subsequently, the vinyl continued to warp and pulled the screw through the frame. I called Champion and the same repair guy came. He cut the warped part of the vinyl off and put another screw in, took pictures and the part was reordered. In Feb. 2024 the repair guy came to put in the part, he brought another repair man with him and said that was ordered was the wrong part again. The second repair man (I have his name) said the frame had now been damaged and would have to be replaced. He said they would get it ordered and schedule an install. I haven’t heard from Champion since that Feb. meeting. I have called numerous time and left messages and have gotten no response. This is the worse customer service I have ever experienced!Review from Jean O

If I could give them a "no star" I would. These people have no integrity or professionalism, they will deny truths, throw their own people under the bus and not even stand behind their work. This is what I posted on **************** getting anything from champion windows in ****************. They are liars and their work is c*** I had several windows installed by this company, the sales guy **** ******* promised workmanship and quality windows. The installer was grumpy and didn't bother to install flash guards above the windows he put on my house. Nor did he tell me I was responsible for maintaining the caulk. I can see where I would need to keep up the caulking around the windows but I'm not the professional and would need to be told information like this. The windowsills started eroding but I thought it was settlement of the house, (another window guy and) the guy from Champion who came out to inspect my claim are the trained professionals who told me there should have been flash guards installed but because they weren't, the windows leaked and caused the erosion. ******, support at champion, said the guy they sent out ***** *****, wasn't an expert and shouldn't have told me what he did. She instantly stripped him of his qualifications to represent them as an employee. And, then denied that there weren't flash guards, which is ludicrous because they simply don't exist. Sales Rep **** *******, Customer Support ******, and the guys above her that she had to get approval from lack professional integrity, they don't stand behind the work they do or stand behind their people. Save your money and go with a reputable company who stands behind their people and their work.Review from Evelyn W

Steer clear of this business! High pressure sales tactics used. In August 2024 I signed a contract for window replacement, and paid the $3k down payment. Was told install dates would be in November 2024. Was contacted for the second $3k payment in late September, which I also paid. Champion had no other contact with me. In early November, I called to ask about install dates. At that point the sales manager told me that they'd "made a mistake" in quoting my costs; in order for the company to make sufficient profit, I would need to pay an additional $674. He claimed that he had tried to contact me but wasn't able to - even though my correct email and telephone numbers were on the contract. And, sure enough, the contract I'd signed says that Champion ( not the consumer! ) can cancel the order at any time up to the install beginning. So eight weeks after the contract was signed, I am told if I don't pay extra $674, they can cancel it. Of course, I did insist that they cancel my order. Which they did. I was concerned that their shoddy business practices would extend to the manufacturing and installation, as well. Looking at it's history, I think this is yet another solid business that's been bought - in 2021 - by another corporation whose sole focus is on shareholder profits, not on delivering fair product to consumer.Review from Philip S

I ordered windows and paid my deposit in July of 2024. I was told the windows would be ready in 8-12 weeks, which would be around the middle to end of September. When I called in mid October to schedule the install, I was told that despite having a record of the order in their system and a record of the deposit I made, they never started production of my windows because the salesperson did not "check a box" on the paperwork. I received a followup call and email to esign documents so that they could start and they would rush the windows out but that has been a month ago. The showroom has closed in our city. Supposedly it will reopen but who knows. When I try to call the people I interacted with, they are unresponsive. Now, I've gotten an email requesting another payment and I don't even know if the windows are being made or when I will actually get them. That is totally unacceptable and it appears I am not alone based on these ratings. They have a major problem and nobody seems to care.Review from Matthew B

Should have read these reviews before the salesman came. Champion windows customer service is terrible, leave messages and no return calls. Ordered windows and waited 8 weeks, when they arrived one was wrong size. Had to wait another 8 weeks for replacement. When the correct window arrived and was installed in realized it was one of the tempered windows and was installed im the wrong location. Took several more weeks to get some one to respond to concerns. So now this windows project is into 9 months and I am still trying to get some one to talk to me about some kind of compensation for all the issues. Don't use this company if you want your project done correctly!!Review from Carol C

I ordered Champion windows on June 13 2024; I was told installation would be scheduled in 8 weeks. The installers showed up in September with the incorrect size windows. I had called and emailed Champion after the installers left. I did not hear anything from the company until mid October. I will never use champion again. I have been paying for windows since July 2024 and have been told I will not have my windows installed until January or February 2025. I asked for a discount for their mistakes on manufacturing and was told it was not up to the person I spoke with to do that. I spent $75,000.00 dollars on windows and sliding doors in April of 2024.There are several issues with things during the installuation.Chanpion will not fix anything yet but promis to come in next few months!!! It has been six months later. Why don't I get my money back if they don't follow through with the contract we agreed upon????Review from Eric R

Champion siding of Wichita Ks is absolutely horrible. We have had nothing but problems with getting repairs done since we had siding installed in late 2023. Been put off of getting any of the repairs done since March of 2024. This is now October 2024 an still have not had any repairs done. This company will do a bad bad job on getting things fixed. I am unhappy with Champion's construction of the sunroom on my deck. It has been in the process of being done for over 5 weeks. I still have not received when they would come to complete the job. They reordered the glass to complete the project. No one informed me on when they would install them. There was damage done to the stucco on my exterior walls. They can't fix them. The contractor made a mess on my ceiling and cut the ridges too short. Originally the sliding doors would not lock. Thankfully a repair man came and worked on them. The sliding doors have lots of sticky materials stuck on them. I couldn't wash them off. The worker cleaned much of but not all of it. One of the screen doors wouldn't slide properly. Once again the worker got it going. No one informs me on when and how they will correct all of the mess they made. I also didn't know that when they offered a year to pay them off that the company who gave us the loan would pay them early in the process. I should have read the contract to know this. Since I know Champion Windows all my life, I didn't look up evaluations. My BIG mistake!!! I will never hire them again.
