Hi! I opened an account with the Art of Living Foundation about a year ago. I wish to close it in compliance with ********** Law (********** Consumer Privacy Act). However, both their app and website has no feature allowing this. I then wished to at least remove my credit card information from their service, as that is sensitive financial information. However, their app and website, again, does not allow me to delete my credit card unless I add another credit card. There is no option to remove payment information once I give it. This is very predatory to consumers. For months, I have called and reached out to multiple levels of support and have either recevied 1) no response 2) a response lying and saying that my credit card was deleted (when it really was not) or 3) a response but ultimately no action taken. They are not deleting my account nor my credit card information, both of which is in violation of the law. These developments are deeply disturbing considering the fact that Art of Living makes themselves out to be an "altruistic" and "selfless" organization. If they were as ethically good as they make themselves out to be, I wonder why their app has no way for consumers to backout and remove their credit card information. Meditation does not require hundreds of dollars for getting to "different levels." That is just scam that they are selling. All you need is some base knowledge and yourself - not a shady organization like this. It appears that the Art of Living is nothing more than a cult that worships their so-called enlightened godman leader as supreme. That is quite concerning.Business response

We have carefully reviewed your account and support tickets. Our IT lead has also called and spoken to you. As we shared with you, we noticed that you had multiple accounts and had also created multiple cases in the system. Given that, it took us a little while to ensure we had the right account to address the issue at hand. We sincerely apologize for any delay in closing the loop with you.
As mentioned to you over the phone, do not store any credit card information. In addition, per your request, we have deleted all your information from our system, including email, phone number, encrypted cc token. We appreciate and value your feedback and will leverage it to continue to enhance our product and streamline customer experience.Regards,
