I have attached our full complaint in a PDF format. We purchased our flooring through ***** in March, 2021. In July 2021, we finally had it installed and we had the worst experience with the installers. The installation team was extremely unprofessional. This unprofessionalism includes using our flower bed to cut the flooring, thus leaving our flower bed looking terrible with saw dust and leading to having to purchase new mulch. In addition, using our own buckets and ruining them without permission (They literally went into our garage, grabbed our buckets & used them without notice) Lastly, they lacked knowledge on bamboo, even admitting they didn't have equipment to properly install Bamboo quarter rounds, which led to the installer using some kind of adhesive for the quarter rounds. I was told the adhesive would not be noticeable, but as you can tell from pictures, it is not only noticeable, but it did not hold quarter rounds in place properly. During the end of the install, when they moved our fridge, rather than slide - they decided to lift it up and drop it down. They did this numerous times, leading to my ice maker leaking and causing water damage in my basement. I have added an image that provides a date & image of water damaging my basement. As we got near December/January, we noticed issues with the floor and called to place a claim. At this time, we started to get the runaround on whose fault it was. At one point, ****** had Allied Installers come out, which the original installer came, took a few pictures and left. He was here less than 5 minutes and his response to the issue is "This is what happens with bamboo... I could fix it, but you would have the same issue every winter". We are now deep into our floor issue with no resolution. We have included images as well as the inspection report and emails from Cali suggesting that ***** have the installer repair or replace the product.Business response

This is an ongoing claim/work order with a company we do contracted work for. Customer has had a third party inspection of the floor and it was determined that most issues are caused by homeowner's environment (mainly high moisture content in home and heavy furniture/appliances pinching floor). The issues with the floor that were outlined as installation-related are pegged to be corrected, as they always have been, but customer was refusing those repairs because he wants to entirety of the issues taken care of. Until he gets the moisture-level in his home within acceptable levels for an exotic wood floor, his problems will continue to worsen. Because this is ongoing and being handled, I will not speak about this further. Customer must continue to work with the Executive Customer Relations team with the company he purchased the flooring installation through.Customer response

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. The third party inspection shows multiple errors with installation. ***** Customer Care team is working with me to handle, but the complaint is still valid that the installation company has performed a well below standard installation and has been proven to be very difficult to work with.

Hi Kristie,I wanted to add to my response. In addition to below standard installation, they damaged multiple areas of the floor such as base boards during installation. In addition, the installers left many areas unfinished. We are in contact with ****** to see a solution, but to say it is due to high moisture is 100% false. The issue of the floor gapping occurred at the exact spot the installers lifted and dropped the fridge multiple times to put it in place, which also led to my basement flooding due to the ice machine on the fridge coming loose. These are all facts and images back it up. The installation company is being extremely unprofessional during this now 6 month inquiry.
Regards,
