9/22/22 144.00 See the attached images of actual ******** conversation with owner/manager below. The owner was rude and belittled my ability to book a reservation. Their words were discriminatory in nature as expecting everyone to have advanced tech skills. They said I better respect and give my attention when doing glass blowing or maybe I should just cancel. In addition, they stated I can come if I am willing to follow directions, policy, and procedure and be open minded and ready to listen. I'm am shocked and outraged at how I was treated.

I purchased a glass blowing class for 2 on June 18th 2021 for $78.42 to be done August 21st. My class on August 21st was canceled due to heat the day of the class with less than 2 hours notice. I emailed the company to reschedule several time with no response for a week. I was finally sent a code to reschedule for January 15th. I showed up early to the location on the 15th and waited until 10 minutes after the scheduled time and nobody for the company showed up and there was no notice that the class was canceled with emails confirming the class sent the day before. I have since been attempting to contact the company for a refund with no response.

I was scheduled to attend a glass blowing experience with this business on December 17th. It was cancelled a few hours before the scheduled starting time, the owner cited a power outage as the reason. I contacted the business to inquire about the schedule the day of cancellation and was not responded to. I have since sent a total of three emails requesting a refund, all of which have been ignored. I attempted to get an update through Facebook and while there was a response, the comments were then turned off, preventing further conversation. Because of other experiences I have read I have reason to believe that the business owner has no intention of communicating or initiating a refund. I was scheduled to attend a class earlier in the year as well, but rescheduled to the December date due to a schedule conflict on my end. However, the business also sent emails that the class I was registered for originally was cancelled. This leads me to believe that they follow through with very little, if any, of their scheduled classes. This is another reason why I would just like a refund as opposed to rescheduling.

I have made contact with the customer. They can obtain a return of funds through their bank if they are not satisfied with policy or procedure. Because purchases are made third party usually refunds must come from respective purchaser. Additionally we have just been physically moving locations and closed to do so through January, which was posted on our Facebook page and website. In the event of postponed workshops we always reschedule at no cost. Refunds after workshops are limited to partial regular because we are an experience based business and the end object is not always a guarantee. Beginners make mistakes and glass can break. In the case of such things we have policy to remake, redo, or replace the item with equal value item. I do hope this information helps! Www.djmglass.com facebook.com/ohiocityglass
