I cancelled my policy with Mitchell at Motorsure America in January 2024 over the phone. He said a refund would be sent to me. In February 2024 I received a call from Mitchell wanting a payment for February (as he does) again I reminded him that we spoke last month and I cancelled and he said I would get a refund. The next week I received statement from ******** Insurance about my policy cancelled due to non payment. I called ******** Insurance and spoke with a lady that said it wasn't in the computer. And I need to call Mitchell so he can put it in. I called Mitchell he said he forgot to put in computer but he will now. The lady from ******** Insurance called me back and said she left Mitchell a voicemail and would keep me updated. In March 2024 I received another letter from ******** Insurance asking me to rejoin with an extra $11.00 fee. I called ******** Insurance and spoke with another lady. She said they didn't receive a signature from me to cancel and that was policy. I explained that I was never told that by anyone else I've spoken with. I don't understand why this company is delaying my cancellation or why they have made my record negative for them canceling meBusiness response

Business advised his is just the middle man. He has spoken with ******** and they are reaching out to the customer to provide a letter letting her know the cancellation is done and they will address any refund if applicable.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.i received a call from Mitchell at Motorsure America today, he said numerous times my policy was cancelled. I explained the letters I received in the mail from ******** explained my policy was cancelled due to non payment. I cancelled my policy with him in January 8, 2024. I need a letter explaining that, not cancelled due to non payment. He explained it doesn't matter. I tried to explain that it does matter why a policy has been cancelled. He suggested I email them and explain. I emailed them and am waiting for a response.
