I bought hair 3/2024 and this hair absolutely terrible. It feels synthetic i paid to have it installed and it mats up and tangles every time i go to sleep. It’s itchy and stinks horribly. They have celebrities misleading customers because this is not the same hair delivered. This is an absolute scam.Initial Complaint

I placed and order with Wig Dealer on November 25, 2023 my Order #******. I contact the business on January 29 and also a review on social media. I received product from the company and it was not as advertised. Upon opening the package of hair; it was not only matted and tangled it was in dire condition. The hair does not appear to be Indian Brazilian body wave and it is very shiny as if there is plastic in the hair. The hair has synthetic fibers. I even try to put hair back together and comb throughout, excessive shredding. I frequently buy hair from a multitude of companies and this doesn't seems to be Indian hair. This is not the hair that was advertised to me or shown on the website, it is given false advertisement. I seen a lot of others had the same experience I am experiencing now. I contact the business it have been over 48 hours and I have yet to get a respond to rectify this situation.Initial Complaint

I made a purchase in November and never received my product. Tracking shows delivered, and image shown is unclear and not of my home surroundings. I have contacted the business to help look into, but unclear of results in regards to what the carrier said happened. They requested me to sign a notarized statement, however I did not have time to get one off with travel and holiday season. I purchased shipping protection, which should help cover lost/stolen/non-delivered packages. I have been using the wig from my first order in an October which is wearing down, I can afford to waste another 450 dollars. Ideally, I’d like the company to replace my order that was not actually delivered to me.Initial Complaint

Placed my order with the wig dealer brand on October 6th 2023, I purchased 2 packs of “Human hair” kinky relaxed clip ins for $395 using after pay and my chase credit card. The product description claims that the hair is human hair origin. However the product upon installing it reacted in a way that feels like synthetic hair and becomes extremely tangled and matted. I emailed the company October 26th and did not hear back from them until I reached out again today November 21st, and which they told me they couldn’t help me and offered me a 15% off discount for my next order as If I’d ever shop there again. I even sent them videos of the issues with the hair. My order number is #******. I would love a refund for this problem.Initial Complaint

On 12/21/22, I purchased a straight, black wig. What I received was absolutely unacceptable and the complete opposite of what I paid $419 for. To begin, my purchase was supposed to come with a free hair oil and straightener, which it did not. I reached out about this and was sent an order out for these missing items, which I then received . The wig I received was nothing like the picture; not only was the box it came in all crushed, but the hair was wavy/curly, had tons of broken, short pieces of hair and lots of uneven tones. Additionally, there was a lot of missing hair and the wig cap can be easily seen as a result. The hair is very thin and is not 180% density as it claims in the description. What I received is a total scam. After reaching out about this to the owner of Wig Dealer, she claimed that it will look better after I wash it. After washing, it looked the same, if not worse. I reached out again after this, and she never responded. I am extremely disappointed and angered as a result of this.Initial Complaint

My original purchase was of poor quality, wig dealer agreed to replace it. They sent a return label for USPS, and because fedex was near me I paid to have the item shipped back to the correct address and provided Shanice M. the tracking receipt. They missed the delivery twice, and fedex reported they were closed during their business hours so I reached out both times and was not given any different instruction. On the 3rd attempt fed ex delivered my package weeks went by and I never received a replacement. Shanice stated the package was signed for by someone who doesnt work there and she would investigate. Fedex determined after an investigation that my package was delivered to them and that they have over 10 packages delivered to this business with the same exact signature successfully. I have been told now that because I used fedex instead of usps and spoken to them rudely that I will not be getting a replacement wig or refund. They now have my money and merchandise and I am left with nothing.Initial Complaint

I ordered 8 items from Wig Dealer, and they only sent me 4. I have reached out to Wig Dealer on multiple occasions to inquire regarding the status of my other 4 items, but to no avail. The company continues to assert that I need to show them the packaging for what I have already received "first". The sad part about it is that the order confirmation clearly shows that I only received 4 items, and the other 4 items have yet to be shipped. I do not have the original packaging anymore for the 4 items that were delivered, but that shouldn't even matter. Original packaging for 4 items that were clearly delivered is irrelevant. Nothing should negate the FACT that my other 4 items were never shipped, as even evidenced by my order status. Any who, I am now in the process of filing a dispute with my bank (Chime), in the hopes that I will receive a refund for what was not shipped. I wish I would have ordered using PayPal because their Resolution Center definitely would have made sure I got my hard earned money back!Initial Complaint

I tried to purchase a lace front wig from the website, but when I placed the order it said my order was canceled never giving an explanation for why. Then I noticed the money was taken from my account, but I’m not sure how if the order was canceled. When I reached out to the company via email I was told I had to wait a month for money to be refunded to my account.
