I had surgery 09/25/2021. When I got the bill from West Broad Anethesia I reach out to them. I explained that I was applying for financial aid through the hospital. They informed me that once I got the letter from the hospital I could submit it and they would assess a discount. They would also "pause" my account until it was resolved. I sent the letter on November 3rd and November 30th. I also followed up via email 2 additional times and 3 times over the phone. The most recent contact was the middle of February 2022. I never got responses via email. Over the phone they just kept telling my that it was "under review" and that my account was in good standing. Today I received a letter from a collections agency for the balance. I really have no idea how to actually communicate with them and resolve this issue, as previous contacts have gone unanswered.
