Hello *******, we just pulled your claim up and realized that you had a refrigerator door gasket issue. When you called the warranty company, you said "The seal around the refrigerator door is broken and the door won't stay closed". The key work 'BROKEN' is all they need to refuse the coverage. Unfortunately I had the same experience as others reported here. I was told I had to use them by the home warranty company. Communication is a huge challenge with them!!!! They schedule appointments and then show up early or rarely respond to messages. They do not appear to have a clue about what they are doing wrt fixing appliances! Just a giant mess. Very FRUSTRATING dealing with them! They get 1 star, simply because they showed up. My problem is still not fixed.Lifetime Appliance, LLC Response

Hello Ki,Your claim number was *********. For this claim, we submitted a request for authorization to your home warranty for both the ice maker and the freezer light. However, only the ice maker was covered and we replaced the part got the unit repaired based on what was authorized. The compartment lamp was not covered and you were informed about it. Here, LIFETIME APPLIANCE was caught in the middle of a customer and their home warranty. I guess there is nothing else we could have done for you. We can only do what they authorize us to do. Zero stars not even one!! Never respond to emails , calls or phone calls I m not sure why this company is in business and why home warranty uses them! Did not show up for scheduled appointment , never called or return calls or voicemails !!!Lifetime Appliance, LLC Response

Gave me a scheduled time to come look at my fridge on 10/04/2023....9am-6pm! I waited all day for nothing! I tried calling several times, no answer. We called Home Warranty they said we will call L A and get back with us in an hour. 2 hours later I have to call Home Warranty. They are reassign ing our case. It is now 10/08/2023, we have been without a fridge 4 days! Living out of coolers. We have lost 90% of our food!Lifetime Appliance, LLC Response

I was scheduled with Lifetime Appliance, LLC. for a fridge compressor repair and the company never showed up and will not answer or return phone call. ****** Home Warranty told me that this company is a top tier rated company. And now seeing the recent ****** Home Warranty review of this company I have my doubts. Also, This is the second time I have needed an appliance fixed and same thing happened with the first as this one did too! ****** Home Warranty needs looked into as well.Lifetime Appliance, LLC Response

Terrible. We've been trying to get our washer fixed for a month and a half. We called our home warranty company and they dispatched Lifetime. The technician came out and said he needed to order a part and it would take about one week. After a week and a half I called my home warranty company. They couldn't reach Lifetime. I tried calling the number that was given to my and didn't get an answer. I tried calling the number the technician called me from and he connected the call, didn't say a word, and promptly hung up. Finally we got the home warranty company to get Lifetime rescheduled. On the day they were scheduled the technician called and asked if the part had been sent to our home. I said no and he said he would have to talk to his boss and call me back. He never called back and no one ever showed up. Attempts to reach them were again unsuccessful. I blame the home warranty company too, but the lack of communication from Lifetime is unprofessional and unacceptable.Lifetime Appliance, LLC Response

Apologies *****, for the inconvenience. Your home warranty shipped the part to our shop through a third party but neither the home warranty itself nor the third party ever shared any tracking details about the items they would ship to us. And we don't also know the *** of the parts. So parts from the third party would arrive without any unique identifier and we cannot match them to their work orders. Don't forget that this is a shop that receives tons of parts. We tried our best to resolve this with the home warranty by us ordering all parts but they didn't accept. The worst! This company was in contract with Choice Home warranty to repair my Samsung ice maker. The repair person came out and said I needed the ice maker replaced and it would be ordered. Lifetime never reached out to me to schedule the install. Whenever Choice home warranty tried to call Lifetime, they would not answer. To this day, lifetime has not repaired the ice maker. This ice maker issue started February of 2023! This company should not be in business!*Lifetime Appliance, LLC Response

No home warranty company covers anything that is still under manufacturer coverage. We thought Choice Home let you know about it. And I guess our technician also requested you to call *******. I have a LG refrigerator that the compressor stopped working after approximately 3 years. The appliance has a five warranty that covered the compressor and service fee. Upon contacting LG, I was given a few authorized repair companies in the Columbus, Ohio area. After making three calls, Lifetime Appliance was the authorized company that could provide me same day service. The technician, who I believe is the owner of the company, diagnosed the problem to be the compressor. He stated that the compressor was covered under warranty and he had a new replacement in his vehicle. The price breakdown was as follows, $400 for the compressor, $80 service call and $270 for labor. With tax the bill would be $806.25. I agreed to the cost, since I had no refrigeration and had already loss all the food in the refrigerator and freezer. The work was completed to my satisfaction, the technician was paid and left the house. And now the fun begins! All of this took place on October 26, 2022. I contacted the LG corporation on October 31, 2022 was instructed the service was covered, but the Model and Serial number from the fridge needed to be included on the receipt. I contacted Lifetime Appliance, explained what I needed and was told it wouldn’t be a problem and he would text me a new receipt with all the info required. As of this writing, I have sent a email, sent a text and attempted to call numerous times over many days without any response from Lifetime Appliance. Today, LG promised that they would waive the requirement for model and serial number and I will get my refund money. Needless to say, I find it highly irritating to have spent two months attempting to get Lifetime Appliance to simply send a revised receipt to which he at one time agreed to do. I would advise everyone to never use this company and I have informed LG of the lack of customer service that one of “their” authorized repair companies provide.Lifetime Appliance, LLC Response

Hello *******,I am the owner, ****** responding now. I apologize for the inconvenience. At some points in the beginning of Lifetime Appliance, I became overwhelmed with customer phone calls and requests. So if I received a call while driving to the next customer, or at another customer home, working, 9 out of 10 chances I would not remember it when I return home that evening. This was the time I was working all alone without employees. Thank you though for the opportunity to serve you.
