      My car has been taken from my parking lot by A A Price Collision. A woman named ********/******** called me stating that she was from my insurance and wants my car to be evaluating. She tricked me and sent a tow truck then took my car to the shop. She never disclosed who is she? I asked her if she were from my insurance she replied yes, and the insurance is coming to evaluate the car. I did inform her that my car is drivable, and they can take as many pictures as they want but I need my car. She stated that they need to take the car in order for the insurance to come and evaluated. I said you can only take my car if you are going to returned to me today (Jan 11, 2024). She sent me a link and said to enter the plate number. After taking my car I called and begged for the address because I wanted my car back. She refused to give the address and said the insurance is coming now and that she will call back on Thursday but did call nor take my call that day. Friday the same thing I called and said I want my car now can you please give me the address then she said the same thing they are coming now, and she will call back then hang up the phone and never took my calls afterward. That brings us Tues 16th that when I finally heard back from my insurance and been informed that they never sent anyone. Now she is saying she obtained my information from the public record and will only give me back my car I give her a $1000 deposit and promise to get my car fixed by them. I have been tricked and scammed by this woman, she won't let me speak with anyone above her and forcing me to pay her money when I never contacted her or request a service from her. She reached out to me and lured me forced tricked me never disclosed who she is? how did she obtain my information? I have been begging to get my car since day one (Thursday Jan 11, 2024). I called police and they are saying is civil matter and I need to contacted BBB for justice. Please help me get my car back.

      Hello im responding to the complaint

      we did contact her but we told her we could help her with her deductible and she said yes and she gave me permission to dispatch a tow truck to her residence where she handed the tow truck driver the keys to her vehicle and was explained again that we will contact her insurance to set up for an adjuster to come to the shop to appraise the vehcile. 

      the story she is tellling is not at all what happened because the other day she called the police and informed them that i myself came to her home and stole her vehicle. she then said i want my vehicle in turn i responded that the vehicle has been here for  6 days at this point and there will be fees to pick up the vehicle if repairs were not going to be completed. she then comes into my shop after the police tried to explain to her that this is how any shop in the city of columbus does business and that she signed an authorization for repair and on the sheet it states that there is fees if vehicle to be retreived by the customer with no repairs being done to it. 

      i was even kind and lowered the fees against my company policy    to make it a little better so she could get her vehicle.

      I never agreed on any car repair as I mentioned on my initial complaint I was tricked and never did she explain that she was a body shop and wanted to repair my car. My accident claim was on going and I thought she was from the insurance and all she kept saying was the insurance is coming and my car will be evaluated then we go from there. Yes, I field the link because she said they needed to take my car to get evaluated although I told her that need the car to go work and my car is drivable which they did not need to tow and they could take the picture. I had no idea they googled my information and their purpose was to keep my car or fix my car. She every time I asked said she insurance is coming and refused to give me the address. I called the police and report my car stolen when the claim agent confirmed that they did not send anyone to get my car after she refused to give me the address. This is the claim agent *** ******** ###-###-####. You can contact him and find out that I was thinking the whole time because she never said who she was. I never reached out to her nor did I wanted my car to be fixed before the investigation with the claim is done. I was lured and tricked and thought my car will be at my parking after evaluation. Please help me get my car back.

      August 16th I got into an auto accident I was contacted by AA precise to fix my vehicle & they would pay my 500$ deductible I initially sent my suv there because after the accident the car was un drivable & was making a loud noise from rear I was told that the car would be fixed in 28days when it was not completed on due date I was told that there Machanic had quit & they had no one to fix my suv then started questioning the statements that were being sent to the insurance company because it said I was being charged for labor & parts when I was told they didn’t have a Machanic so two months pass & still my suv was not fixed so I was told at that time that the vehicle had to be sent to Nissan because they still had no Machanic. Nissan told them that it would be an additional 3,500$ to fix the issue at this time my insurance company already paid out almost 9,500$ & I was told that they would not be paying the additional 3,500$ Then the loner car that I had from them they told me was free for use as long as they were fixing my suv they charged an additional 400$ for & reported it stolen please help asap

      We initially finished all body work and sent the vehicle to the dealer due to the fact we didn’t have a mechanic. The dealer instructed the insurance as well as the customer that’s it’s pre existing damages that he needed to come retrieve his vehicle.
      Mr ******** was in our loaner car from the time his rental ran out.

      Initially my 2012 Ford Focus was towed into their shop as I was in an accident in October. My car was in the shop for 2 months due to parts delays. They delivered my car to me in late December or early January. I contacted them to say my car was overheating. The car was returned to them. They told me they were sending my car to Ricart for repairs. Today, when I called I spoke to Maddie, who said she could not help me, she didn't know anything. I usually talk to ****, who fails to return my calls or provide any information on my car.

      The vehicle was repaired to the best of our knowledge, based on the facts we were given. The customer had some issues that we are not sure are related to the accident. We sent the vehicle to Ricart Ford to be diagnosed.  The dealership  can not 100% say that the issues the car is having, are related to the accident. We sought after a 2nd opinion and are waitig to here back. The last thing we want to do, is give someone back a half completed car , and it acuse them more trouble in the future.  We are trying to get the car completed A.S.A.P.

      My car was damaged to where the radiator and other parts of the car got busted.Antifreeze leaked out everywhere.AA was paid by my insurance to fix it. They had it 3 months or so and returned it still leaking antifeeeze and with the horn still not working so I returned it to them and they had it three more months. School was getting back in and I had to call them and get the vehicle back and it is still leaking antifreeze and now it’s not running every time I call the manager **** he’s never there.They were suppose to call me back the week of Dec 5th thru the 9th and never did. I have asked them several times to just order the parts and call me when they arrive and they won’t. I bought this vehicle brand new in 2016 and because of AA it’s not running. I just want my vehicle fixed correctly and for them to stop ignoring me.Thanks

      I got into an accident and had my car placed with them to ****** was leaking antifreeze and the entire front end was damaged.They gave it back not fixed all the way after having it for 3 mos. They had it again just sitting at their shop and when school came back in session we had to get it back, still leaking antifreeze and horn still not working. They said it was a gasket so now its leaking oil and antifreeze prob due to the gasket, its non drivable now. This is my second complaint because they were supposed to call me by the end of January to get it in and be fixed and I still have not received a call.

      This is the 3rd complaint *** made against this company. The manager is NEVER there no matter when you call. My car was involved in an accident and sustained fluid leaks and the horn was broken along with other body damage. To this day my car is still undriveable even though they were paid to fix it. They told the bbb that they would fix it in Jan and they never did. The last conversation I had with them they said they do not have a mechanic and would contact me by the end of march and they never did. At this point I would like a refund of what they were paid for the horn and the fluid leaks so I can go somewhere and have it repaired properly.

      I just received your response today and wanted to clarify a few things. The last time I spoke with someone at AAA precise collision and repair was March. She told me she did not have a mechanic and that she would call me by the end of March. This is now the first week of May and I called them today and they still have nobody to fix my car. The resolution that I wanted was the money returned to me that they got paid to fix it so I could take it somewhere else. The manager is never in there no matter what time of day you call him. I asked them to have him call me today and he never did which is usual. Somebody needs to have this place Investigated . My car has been sitting in my driveway for months in operable.Thanks

      I'm sorry that this has taken place. I will reach out myself personally to have this matter resolved. I have not been informed by anyone on my team that you have been calling. True we do not have a mechanic on site at all times. We have partnered with a mechanical shop in order to meet our mechanical needs, we are first and foremost a body shop. We do not specialize in mechanic work, but we do have someone who is a master - tech and is working with us in order to have those mechanical needs met. I **** ***** will be reaching out to said customer myself, so we can identify the problem and have the corrections made.

      I have been trying to get my car fixed by this place for 2 years now. If you look through our previous correspondence you will see that they promised to make it right by fixing it. They towed my car to their shop and have had it for several months and now a lady there is saying I tore up my own car and that the motor is blown. My car ran but had an oil and antifreeze leak that they got paid to fix but never did. This place needs to be shut down. I would like money back to take somewhere else.

      I had my son vehicle a 2017 VW Passat towed to this business on August 23rd for a bumper/undercarriage replacement. They shop receptionist ******** Initially contacted me to offer free estimate and also said if I choose this shop my deductible would be paid and we would also be provided a loaner vehicle until repairs were finished. This however was not true. We never received a loaner vehicle, we are being asked to pay $200 of our $500 deductible and repairs are not done. ******** initially told us the car would be done in 2 weeks, she explained this is what she was told by her manager ****. After the 2 weeks passed, which was September 6 we contacted the shop. ******** told us **** said it would now be Tuesday of next week. On Tuesday the following week we were told by ******** it will now be Thursday or Friday for sure. On Friday my son and my brother went in person to the shop, repairs had still not been done. They were promised that they were only waiting on 1 part and it would be done the following day Saturday. Today is Saturday and we are now being told by text from **** that it won’t be done until next Tuesday. **** is no longer answering his phone and out calls are going straight to voicemail. I asked ******** for the name and number of the owner and she said she can not give out his information and he can not or will not call me, and I could only speak with **** who is now not answering his phone.

      We here at AA Precise Collision aim to repair and release every vehicle within a reasonable amount of time. Do to circumstances beyond our control, we are not always able to get a vehicle repaired  within the time frame a customer thinks we should. In this case there was a part on back order and had to be special ordered in order to complete the repairs. The customer came in and took a look at their  vehicle and could see the repairs had been started. We reached out to the vendor regarding the part, in front of the customer, so they could here the same promise made to us; made to them. Once part arrived , it was put on the vehicle and the vehicle was completed. Customer appeard to be very happy when picking up the vehicle . Customer has vehcle in their possesion.

      My car was brought here to get fixed because it was wrecked ! The services was not as promised and I’ve called multiple times with no response back ! The service is unprofessional especially dealing with insurance companies! This company has fraudulent tendencies . This places needs to be reevaluated on so many levels! I have yet to get paid for my car rental which was promised to me and this issue is still not resolved months later!

      Ms. ******* did have a few complaints upon picking up her vehicle regarding an issue with the paint as well as an issue with her car not being professionally detailed. Typically we do clean a customer's vehicle both inside and out after a repair however we do not provide an actual detailing service. We did however reimburse Ms. ******* $150.00 for a professional detail. We also gave her an additional  $400 to replace and re-program her keys as this was a stolen/ recovered vehicle. Having reimbursed this customer $550.00 as well as covering her $500 deductible we covered and/or reimbursed Ms. ******* a total of $1050.00. She has not returned to our office regarding any invoice from Enterprise to inquire if we are able to help cover any extra costs she may have incurred.

      In terms of a paint correction - we left Ms. ******* a voicemail 3 days after she picked up her vehicle on 2/22/2022 to address her concerns. We are happy to correct any paint or repair issues this customer may have as long as they are directly related to the repairs performed at our shop. She simply needs to call and make an appointment so we can further evaluate her concerns.

      AA precise solicited me after an auto accident that I was in. They told me they would offer a rental car while my car was being repaired. They never did. The car repair took longer than it should have according to Geico insurance adjuster. AA precise lied about parts taking too long and could not back up with proper invoices. Geico refused to cover our rental car after a certain amount of time and I ended up paying $1100 dollars out of pocket.

      Mr. ******'s repairs were delayed due to several parts that were on a National Back Order from General Motors. We informed **** *********** from Geico as well as Mr. ****** of the back order status. We also provided copies of the invoices along with dates the parts were ordered vs. the dates they arrived. While our goal is always to provide excellent service in a timely manor unfortunately a Manufacturer back order is completely out of our control. We also attempted to find Mr. ******'s parts from Aftermarket vendors as well as recycled and were unable to locate these parts forcing us to wait until the parts were shipped to our local dealer from General Motors. We did offer to reimburse Mr. ****** for 3 days of rental which is company policy in the name of good customer relations which he stated was unacceptable. We are still willing to honor this offer of 3 days reimbursement and sincerely apologize for the delays in Mr. ******'s repairs.

      I took my 2016 Nissan Altima in for insurance repairs due to an accident. The original repair estimate was submitted to my insurance company who approved it and paid it. I heard from them about every week saying the next week it would be ready. Around Christmas, I was told the mechanic was in the hospital. Then I heard they lost management and didn't have staff to work on my car.  I've talked to ****** ********* and ***** On Friday I talked to **** who said a bracket would be in today. Today I spoke to ********* who said one bracket came in. I am on my second courtesy vehicle. I told ********* the car was having issues and made me late for work. She apologized but had nothing else to offer me. 

      They submitted a second repair estimate which my insurance company denied as they had already agreed to the initial repair estimate.   

      The courtesy vehicle is so bad I have missed work, and my son was kicked out of his school because I couldn't get him there.     

      I have been hearing it will be ready next week for months. I no longer trust them to do a good job.

      Ms. ********'s vehicle is almost completed and will be available for her to pick up prior to end of business Friday 5/6/2022. There were 2 brackets necessary to attach the front bumper to the fender on each side of the vehicle that were on back order from the manufacturer which unfortunately is beyond our control.

      November 24th, 2021 ******** from this business contacted me about my accident. She promised she could get my car that day and make the process so easy for me. That’s was NOT the case with this shop. After months of not being contacted unless I was the one to contact them, I started losing my patience. The manager then promised my agent my car on February 9th. We then called to get my car and the manager turned around to tell my agent she was a liar and it was never promised. The phone calls are recorded. I then was promised my car again on March 7th. To no surprise, it still was not done but I went to the shop anyway to meet the owner. After my car being in there for MONTHS - they failed to notice body work still not completed, paint still mismatching, and rims still digging into my tire making it unable to drive. The owner then promised my car in perfect condition as of March 16th. I was at work so it had to be released to my friend who they also know - FAR from perfect condition. It was disgustingly dirty after promising a detail. We have all the pictures from the pick up. It still has scratches and paint marks that were supposed to be repaired. Nothing was done as promised. They then want me to bring my car BACK to them to fix it. They had it for months and lots of failed promises, they do not get my car back at any point from now on. I would like them to refund me for the parts of my car they did not repair after promising, the oil change they promised that didn’t happen, and I want my car detailed as promised. I also was told not to return my rental by the manager saying they would figure it out for me. After not figuring it out, I paid $400 to Enterprise. The owner did pay me back for this, so that was nice. But, I’d rather be out $400 than to have a car in this condition.

      We are never hear of any customer being unsatisfied with their experience & apologize this customer was not happy. Unfortunately there was a very long delay in the repair process for this customer due to a majority of the parts being on National Back Order from General Motors.

      It was never our intention to mislead the customer in any way. We have completed all repairs that were paid for by her insurance company and upon hearing she felt they were unsatisfactory offered to correct any issues she has. The customer has refused to bring her car back so we may address her concerns.

       

      We do offer to clean customer's vehicles inside & out (this is not a Professional detail but a car wash and we wipe down interior surfaces and vacuum). We would also be happy to clean the customer's car again if she decides to bring it back to our shop so we may address her concerns.

       

      An oil change would not be promised to any customer as we are an Auto Body Shop and do not employ any mechanics. We would be happy to refer this customer to a few different mechanics in our area that we would recommend for an oil change. If this was somehow misunderstood as a part of any conversation we certainly apologize as it was not our intention.

       

      According to the terms of our Limited Lifetime warranty all paint & body work are guaranteed and we will be happy to make any necessary corrections and address any concerns the customer has with the work performed & paid for by her insurance company. Parts have their own individual warranty and all parts that were required to perform repairs were in fact ordered and installed on her vehicle. There was no work that was simply not performed so there would not be any refund available to this customer.

       

      She was as she stated reimbursed for her additional rental costs.

       

      We will be happy to address all of this customer's concerns. She will simply need to call our office and schedule a date & time to drop off her vehicle.

      I am rejecting this response because: When I talked to the owner, he was made very clear that I was unhappy. I understood the delay in getting parts. However, their lack of communication was UNREAL. And, I was promised my car would be returned in perfect condition NUMEROUS times. And, I got it back filthy - after being promised a detail cleaning. When I became upset about this, ******** promised to contact a detailer they work with to get my car completely cleaned. I am refusing to bring my car back because of the lack of care and lack of trust this shop holds. An oil change was definitely promised as well. The shop is saying whatever they can to make it seem like they tried to make it right which they failed at every step of the way. I am already in contact with another shop through my insurance to fix what they did not.

      I was looking into filing a police report. I would like the shop to show me that my car was on tape the entire time so I know where to file the report. But, they have failed to do so, so I will just go ahead with the report on them. I am taking my vehicle to be cleaned and would like reimbursement from the shop when I do so since they gave me my brand new car back filthy. As I have stated, this shop will no longer get my car because I do not trust them. They have been utterly disgusting and terrible. All I want at this point is for them to reimburse me for the cleaning of my car. When I have a receipt I will attach it. Other than that, this shop cannot mend what they have done (or did not do)

      We explained to the customer when she was in our office that unfortunately (as posted on the wall inside the office) that we are not responsible for items left inside customer's vehicles. However we did check the property for any missing items. The security footage does not go back weeks/months. We checked available video footage and did not see any type of theft or items being removed from this customer's vehicle. 

       

      We would be happy to re-wash the customer's vehicle inside & out if she would like to make an appointment on a Saturday between 8:00am-12:00pm. As no receipt for cleaning was attached or provided by the customer we would not be able to issue any type of payment.

       

      Our goal is to provide a positive experience for each customer & sincerely apologize for any other outcome.
