      Do not bank with Huntington they will terminate your account whenever they want for no apparent reason. My wifes account was hacked. Someone tried to deposit a Bad check for four grand and made $3000 worth of ***** purchases before they realized it was a bad check.. before freezing the account because it was fraud, they just terminated the account not only did they terminate the account, but they also terminated the joint account. My wife and I had together that had all of our bills on it. My wife had that account for over 15 years. Huntington cant do anything about it they never will, and we will continue to get hacked, we need to bring cash back

      Very poor communication and scammy work practices, such as rejecting environmental reports for no clear or valid reasons. Avoid this group.

      Unchecked Discrimination. I found out that the bank itself, can deem whether you are a good enough customer, for your check to be deposited same day. They have no real protocol for this, they just give themselves a scapegoat by saying that they dont GURANTEE same day deposits. Even though my company uses Huntington and our checks are THROUGH Huntington! After an hour on the phone with customer service (this is after the first rep hung up on me, p.s. I am as polite and respectful on the phone, as ****** *******), I was finally told by a manager that it is up to their discretion. After I brought up changing banks, she just simply told me, Well, theres no rules against having two separate banks accounts clearly telling me to F off and that she really doesnt care about my business. In todays economy, where a lot of working class Americans are struggling, for a bank to tell me Im not entitled to the money I worked my **** off for, until they deem I can have it, is beyond reprehensible. This is why people will continue losing their trust in the banking system, and I myself, plan on immediately terminating my account with **********************, but beyond that, I want them to be held responsible for this extreme bias of their customers. Allowing the bank to have this kind of power just really opens the door for racists, sexisms, misogynistic people to decide whether you should have your money today, or tomorrow. Please, Better Business Bureau, help put a stop to this terrible business practice.

      They are requiring Insurance Coverage from Prior years. I have shown them current coverage, and all personal coverage. This is coverage from prior years through my condo ***** They are charging me over $2500 in insurance when they know we are covered. I have sent them proof of coverage, but they have charged me anyhow and wont waive it until I prove prior years coverage for the condo ***** I think it's highly unethical to do this in arrears, and bill 1st until you prove differently.

      if I could give zero stars, I would. Terrible service. fraud charges were made to my account and my account was foreclosed and I had no idea about it. I was never notified. Nothing. This is ridiculous considering I have been a loyal customer to ********************** for almost 10 years. I wouldnt recommend this bank to my worst enemy. I realized my account was closed by myself at the worst possible time. I was in a car accident and needed an **** and that was how I realized. When I called they at first to even tell me why my account was closed. I had to demand to be transferred to a supervisor.

      I love banking with Huntington, I will just say that right up front, however, I had to place a phone call this morning at 10:58 AM to the fraud department having to do with suspicious activity on my bank card. I called the number provided to me and the man that I had to deal with Was very rude and disrespectful to me treating me like a child and making me feel very stupid. I live in ******** and the call was during 10:58 AM.

      Huntington does not have good security at all. My debit card was compromised 4 times in 3 years. Then someone was able to get my account number, had checks made and wrote checks and endorsed with their own name. Huntington not only did not launch an investigation, they sent a letter with forms for me to fill out to lodge a complaint. There was a deadline on the letter which was after the date of receipt. They ended up closing my account without warning. That is fine because when the fraudulent check was issued, I switched banks. I had left the account in frozen status because I was told it would be investigated. Now, I am glad they went in and closed it. It saves me the bother of making it official. Nonetheless, they made me feel like I was at fault when it was so clear that the check was fraudulent! I cannot deal with a bank that does not care about their customers and have moved on.

      Worst bank when asking for letter faxed texted or emailed. I never heard of banks who cannot give explanation or send letter threw email or text but can email alerts to coustmer s I advice people not to use them

      I have been bombarded for months with emails saying I was pre-approved for a refinance of my vehicle and got a credit card. I decide to call about the refinance. I give all my info, they do a credit pull, and deny me. NOTHING in my credit report is different except my income has increased. I relocated in April so they are declining for residency? I have a hard credit pull on my report now. I will never apply for anything with Huntington again and I'm considering moving all my money out of Huntington and closing all accounts.

      huntington bank let a scam company "Southwest Performance Parts" steal 135$ from my checking account and did nothing but take that companys side. huntington is not on your side! do not bank at huntington...Zero stars
