Mid State Basements treated my family fair and gave us an end product we were happy with.

I have used Mid-State basements on several occasions as a Real Estate Agent. Referrals and positive feedback from clients is very important in this industry. This company is 100% always showing professionalism with myself, the client and in their work ethic.. They bid jobs better than their competitors and do not attempt to fix issues that are not a problem. They work for the long term relationship with the client rather than a one time job. I cannot imagine using another company. The staff and crew from top to bottom show knowledge and and communicate exactly what they are going to do to solve the issue. I even met the owner out on the job site this week checking on his crew and bringing lunch. That is why his employees stay and work hard. More companies need this type of management and customer service. Keep it up Mid-State and Thank You for being a trusted company.

The initial evaluation was different than other company evaluations. Mid-State didn't try to oversell. After looking at the situation they recommended a more streamlined solution. After drilling through the basement cement floor, the original recommendation wasn't suitable. They recommended an alternate solution. Although it was more costly, Mid-State honored the original contract. Due to changes in the property situation, Mid-State allowed us to cancel the contract and refunded our deposit. Mid-State is easy to work with, flexible, and everything handled professionally. No "pressure" on anything in the process

Had water in basement every time it rained. My wife called Mid-State Basement Systems in March. ***** came out & saw the damp area. His "professional" opinion is to replace the pipes that ran from the gutters out to the street. We agreed on a price of $1,097. They delayed coming out on agreed date because it was raining. They eventually made it out on April 25th (in the meanwhile, basement gets wet every time it rains). Next rain after the work was completed, basement gets we again. I call ***** and asks him to come out. I said "maybe it's the sump pump discharge (***)". He states the line is not connected to the *** & tries to sell me on tearing up the floor and drywall which would cost over $3,000. He stated my gutters may be clogged because there is a water stain next to the downspout. I purchased a snake inspection camera to check ************ was clean. Used camera to check from the ************** was dirt. I texted ***** on 5/19, then again on 5/26 to see if dirt is clogging pipes. When it was raining & noticed water was coming from below the downspout. Yes, there is a *** below in contrary to ****************** Noticed few things - they didn't use PVC cement and the pipes that they installed were not 12 to 18 inches beneath the ground as suggested so now water could freeze there during winter. I adjusted the pipes to move water from *** to pipes. 6/2 - the laborers come out and put a brick on top of the ***. They did not meet me at 4:00 appointment. 6/3 I meet with *************** said they could fix by charging me $400 to connect *** line to the newly installed line. I try to get a discount because it's be over 2 months now. ***** says we can do $250 and try to get someone out there asap. 6/6 text from ***** states they can't make it out until 6/24. WOW, 2 months later problem still not fixed. I cancelled date & going to cut my losses, I'm not giving them anymore money. If they can't fix it in 2 months - it's not a good sign.
