Hello I sent her money 9/20/23 Appointment was 10/14/2023 I canceled appointment 10/10/23 She refused refund and services on 10/11/2023 I am requesting my $240 refunded to me. She did refund $60. If she’s refusing services then she is performing consumer fraud by keeping my money. Essentially this hair appointment was not going to work out. She said no deposit if I get a gift card. She directed me to pay with apple pay. She never gave me the gift card neither in person or virtually. She stopped answering calls. I canceled appointment on Monday , the appointment was that Saturday She said she would keep $75 of my money as a deposit I said fine I’ll see you Saturday at that point she decided to refuse services. So she never gave me a gift card for the $300, and then decided to refuse services and still keep my money. The only place where I saw there was a penalty is if you cancel within 24 hours of the appointment and there is 50% fee but I canceled way ahead. I saw this on the email appointment confirmation (not gift card) she sent me . Again I never got a link or signed anything saying the gift card was non refundable.Business response

Hello,
I believe this person has the wrong business they are making a complaint about. I am a hairstylist, but this person is not my client nor have I had any contact with someone named Monica Castro. I do not take deposits or prepaid appointments. This exchange was not with me.
There are other business in Columbus that I think it might have gotten mixed up with. There is someone called “hair by Britt” and also a place called “more than Kalon” in Columbus ohio they could be referring to. I don’t even take Saturday appointments and this person did not have an appointment scheduled with me.
I would like to know the next steps as to how to get this review taken down.

and she said she couldn't help me.
