I had this company do an assessment of a building. They were to figure out what heaters were working and what I needed to get them repaired or replaced. I never grumbled over the price of $2600 either. This was taken from my credit card the very next day. 3 weeks pass with no communication. I made calls to the salesman with no response. Finally after 5 weeks I called their office everyday to get their findings and the estimate even asked to speak to the owner with no luck. After 6 weeks, I finally got the estimate of 14k, I approved it but had 1 question about a warranty of a new unit. It took 5 days to get somewhat of an answer. At this point I faxed in the approved quote, and get a response back that they aren’t going to take the time, and best we go our separate ways. After all of this I’m the bad guy? I then asked for my $2600 refunded since they wouldn’t finish the job, and they won’t do that either. No emails were sent by me prior to this email I received.

A service call was placed to go through all HVAC equipment (15 Units).  We went through all HVAC equipment and had a total of 21 hours including travel time.  We charged him $2,058.00 on 12-8-22.  We sent a quote on 1-12-23 for work that needed to done on the HVAC equipment to get everything up and running correctly.  It did take longer for the quote to go out to the customer - due to the factory response time to us.  The customer called about the quote and made threats (see attached text) The owner of Ohio Heating responded with an e-mail - stating that we had no interest in doing his work due to the threat he made.  We will not refund.  We did look at 15 HVAC units and that is what he paid for.  He was given a report on the issues those units had.

There were no threats other than a 1 star rating for not giving any responses, charging me the very next day and waiting over a month for a quote. Someone from this company could’ve responded to me to explain they are waiting on vendors, but they didn’t. All I see on my end is a $2600 charge, a delayed job on my end, and nothing to show for it.  It was poor business and very bad customer service. I even had requested a quote on another location for a new commercial unit and waited weeks. No one ever called on that either. A threat of a 1 star rating was based on me requesting to speak to the owner for over a week with no response at all. The only response I got from the owner was the rejection of the estimate I signed for approval. No communication was before that at all. If that doesn’t deserve a 1 star rating, I don’t know what does.

Because of this poor business practice, I am down $2600 from this and had to start over with a new company. This is why i am requesting a refund.
Would you pay a butcher to cut up a cow if he wasn't planning on selling you some steaks?

      Regards,
