This man took my money and never completed either job hired for. He kept saying on the first job he would finish it tomorrow and he never finished the job. The flooring job he just took the money and called off work for an entire week. He also half painted my neighbors steps and never completed that. Since the payment is over $3k criminal charges are going to be filed.Initial Complaint

Chad came out to do some work brick work. He did not finish the work the first day and said he would return to finish the job. Despite several attempts to contact him, he has not responded to any of our calls or texts. We also paid him the full amount and he has not fulfilled his end of the contract. Found him as a local concrete and landscape contractor, and I was looking to “Support Local” small businesses, so I got an estimate. Mr. P**** was promoting himself and his family business as a 25yr operation that he and his sons run also claiming to be licensed and insured. We agreed on a price and I signed an invoice and he gave me a business card. He required 50% down to buy the concrete mix and stated this was standard to protect him from customers bailing out after he purchased the concrete…so I agreed. He then agree to come the next day to start tearing the existing paver walkway up. He arrived promptly and cleared the pavers. He also agreed to haul away some extra pavers I had from a patio in my backyard for which he asked for an extra $100. I also offered and provided him water, and allowed him to use my air compressor to fill his flat trailer tire. We also exchanged cell phone numbers so we could communicate easier versus through Facebook Messenger. He then told me he would come back in the next three business days, for which I agreed. After the first business day passed, which was a Friday, I texted him to see which day he was coming because I wanted to ensure someone was home. I followed up via Messenger on Sunday for which he responded on Sunday evening saying he would try Monday but could be Tuesday. I didn’t hear anything Monday and by Tuesday afternoon I still had not heard anything so I messaged and texted him again to see if everything was okay and when he would be out. As of Thursday I have not heard from him. I did get a message from his son, who owns his own business and said his father does this regularly. I’m currently trying to work this out with his son.
